ESPN Crumbling After Losing $1 Billion, Facing More Layoffs After Thanksgiving

It will not be a happy Thanksgiving for some ESPN employees.

The sports network, which often masquerades as a political opinion site in the Trump era, is facing major cutbacks again due to budget shortfalls.

According to reports, $80 million in salaries will be cut from the network between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Estimates say between 60 and 100 employees will be let go.

More like a leftist propaganda site masquerades as a sports network.

ESPN has all sorts of problems including vulnerability to sexual harassment suits.

80 million in salaries?? Are they saying that (even at 100 employees) they are paying those 100 people $800,000 per year? Where do I sign up for half that?

I think it’s getting rid of a bunch of opinion shows they have so they’re saving production money and not just salaries.

The idea that ESPN does anything else but apolitical neutral coverage of all sports is as crazy as the idea that MTV isn’t concentrated on showing video music videos back to back with occasional interviews of musicians and singers.
