Who didn’t have a crush on Susan Dey?

David Cassidy was the only one that could sing and play an instrument.

    • This is true.

It was criminal, however, that Shirley Jones rarely sang lead. She had one of the best voices of her generation.

David Cassidy was my wife’s teen heart throb … and, yes, Susan Dey was mine. The Partridge family was a great show to watch as a kid. RIP, David.

It seemed like every girl in my high school was trying to look like Susan Dey and Michelle Phillips.

        God I miss those days…

Ah the 70’s girl next door classic beauty look. To bad the 80’s brought in the big hair psycho look for most females.

I distinctly remember way back in 1970 reading an article in the Toronto Star (yes, sorry) concerning an upcoming TV series about a musical family that traveled around in a groovy bus.

I had a few Partridge Family albums; on one each member was asked their favourite this and that. David Cassidy cited B.B. King as his favourite recording artist. I think that shows that he had aspirations outside of teeny bopper-hood.

I had many Partridge Family trading cards in the spokes of my bike’s wheels making a bad-ass sound.

I never had the hots for Susan Dey, for me it was always the babe-a-licious Shirley “Partridge” Jones.

Rest in peace, David Cassidy. Thanks for the entertainment.

    Was it poison?!

Don’t you think it a bit odd so many stars dead lately?
