Charlie Rose Suspended By CBS, PBS and Bloomberg Amid Sexual Misconduct Claims

In response to a Washington Post report detailing multiple accusations of inappropriate conduct, PBS and Bloomberg announced on Monday afternoon that both companies will stop distributing Charlie Rose’s eponymous show, Charlie Rose. The nightly show is produced by Rose’s company, Charlie Rose Inc.

I caught a bit of Charlie Rose on Bloomberg News, while channel-surfing among the business networks. All he is is a stale liberal, with little to offer in the way of fresh insight. But he is a liberal, so this is good stuff.

What I couldn’t stand is that he would ask a question of the person he was “interviewing” and often before that person finished their first sentence he was either finishing their sentence or otherwise interrupting them.

      • Watchman

Standard interviewing technique of modern journalists: you have all the questions written down, each phrased in a leading manner that supports your preconceptions about your interviewee. As you can’t allow your narrative to be derailed or the interviewee to raise any issue that does not support your narrative, you must interrupt to bring back the narrative you had originally chosen for that interview.

        • Brett McS

Exactly. They interrupt as soon as they see that the interviewee is not reacting as required and is starting to make a cogent counter point.

That seems to be largely an American trait. European interviewers tend to let people speak, even if they don’t agree with them.

Charlie Rose’s career died the day after the person he interviewed that made Rose famous died… Charles Manson.

I just didn’t expect it so literally.

So Trump was right after all in his “pussy” comment … it’s just that he was more correct than the elites deviant class cared for … and more accurate. And he said it because it truly wasn’t “normal” for him which is why he commented.

    • Watchman

I just get the feeling that many of these men who heard the comment knew what they were doing themselves and said, “Hey, that must have meant that Trump was doing what we try on our subordinates and contacts instead of being simple locker room talk.”

    Fake News:
Intern: “I’d like to complain about Charlie Rose.”
HR: “Which part of Charlie Rose?”
Intern: “The body part of Charlie that Rose.”

    How he committed the crimes;

Step one: Bore them into a coma.

    Step two: Have his way.

step three; Go on TV then bore the nation into a coma.

step four: Because they’ve all been bored into a coma hope that no one can remember step two.
