French Police Find Rocket Launchers Among Massive Weapons Arsenal in Drug Raid

French police have arrested four individuals in connection with organised drug dealing and have also found a massive arsenal of weapons including fully automatic rifles and anti-tank rocket launchers.

The four men were arrested in the regions of Eure-et-Loir, Eure and Yvelines which lies just west of Paris. Republic of Chartres prosecutor Rémi Coutin commented on the case saying investigators had found narcotics, 13,000 euros in cash and a massive arsenal of military-grade weaponry, radio broadcaster Europe 1 reports.

Student op-ed: Outdoor clubs are too white

In a recent op-ed for the school paper, a white Pitzer student frets that the colleges’ outdoor programs, though open to all students and well-funded, are “predominantly white spaces” that deny people of color “access to the outdoors.”

The op-ed, written by Malcolm McCann, a freshman at Pitzer College—one of the member institutions of the Claremont Colleges—calls out clubs like Pitzer Outdoor Adventure (POA) and On the Loose (OTL), among the most amply funded outdoor clubs at the Claremont Colleges, for being “predominately white spaces.”

Japanese Tug Boat Crashes Into US Warship During Exercise

The incident occurred off the east coast of Japan. The boat was on its way to the port in Yokosuka, where the US Navy is stationed.
A Japanese tug boat has accidently damaged a US missile destroyer in Sagami Bay.

“No one was injured on either vessel and Benfold sustained minimal damage, including scrapes on its side, pending a full damage assessment,” a press release of the US Navy said.
