The Tent Foundation hires Lutheran refugee contractor to write refugee hiring guide

Hamdi Ulukaya, the founder of Chobani Yogurt (we mentioned their expansion in Twin Falls, Idaho, here recently), created a personal foundation launched at Davos (Switzerland) in 2016 he called The Tent Foundation.

Now comes news that The Tent Foundation has hired Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service to pen a guide for their “member” companies (affiliated with Tent) to answer questions corporations have about hiring refugee labor.

If one of my clients asked me questions about how many ‘X’ are in my employ… unless X is a trade like welder or plumber then my answer will be no clue. I don’t ask and I don’t want to know as I only employ the best people for the job, not placeholders to make a set of metrics look better.

Boy is she in for a surprise after watching all the pro- refugee media.

We have somali muslim refugees on Dixon rd from the early 1990’s and many they DON’T want to work because they are STILL on welfare and about to have grand children running around the government funded apartments.
Thirty years from now the grand children will have children living there that will have their children and so on.

She assumes refugees WANT to work .

I bet you that she thinks that they must continue to allow immigration until they find enough immigrants who want to work and become net taxpayers instead of net welfare black holes. Of course this means that you have to bring in more immigrants and refugees to pay for the welfare of those already here that don’t work and don’t want to work. It’s all a big Ponzi welfare scheme. The Liberals love it because all these welfare recipients are lifelong Liberal voters, which seems to be pretty much why they were allowed in in the first place. Conservatives should be spending their efforts in screening out those who never intend to work ever again by the use of a immigration points scheme, as well as eliminating chain migration by also tightly restricting family reunion immigration.

I think both parties are aligned against the citizen taxpayer’s interest frankly. Cons just do things more slowly. IMO.

Am I ever with you there, but we all know that will never happen. Not with the horrible political parties we have in Canada. There’s not one of them worth voting for.

Would that be the same ones who have massive contracts to supply their stuff to school lunch programs and coincidentally are very patriotically involved as donors to political organizations. Not to mention pally with ex emperor Barry what’s his name?
