Kevin Spacey edited out of Ridley Scott’s Getty film just weeks before release

Kevin Spacey is getting cut out of Ridley Scott’s finished film All the Money in the World and replaced by Christopher Plummer just over one month before it’s supposed to hit cinemas.

People close to the production who were not authorised to speak publicly said on Wednesday that Plummer is commencing reshoots immediately in the role of J Paul Getty.

All of Spacey’s scenes will be reshot, the people said. Co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams are expected to participate.

It can’t be cheap to reshoot parts of a finished film, but it’s probably a better choice than having a dead movie, unable to be released.

Major signs of panic. this would be a very costly option and still might not save the film. its their best shot though
