Alberta premier accuses male MLAs of ‘mansplaining’ and ‘hepeating’ over pipelines

It came during question period after United Conservative member Jason Nixon lauded Notley for taking his party’s advice on getting more pipelines built, but also suggested Notley needs to do more.

Notley rejected that statement, then accused Nixon of “hepeating” for taking credit for her government’s work.

And the left drones on about “othering” people.

    • Justin St.Denis

      Excellent point.

Albertans must feel proud having elected this twat. But what can I say, the rest of canaduh elected the boy blunder.

    • Justin St.Denis

It is unfortunate that the political players of the day validate the offhand use of the term “twat” which would otherwise be offensive. But with so many twats fucking things up, it’s best to call a spade a spade – even if they are “of colour”. For example, both Oprah Winfry and Ellen Degeneres are primo twats, and we can say that now because Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz are such ginormous uber-twats that virtually nobody argues the point anymore.

I don’t normally agree, but reluctantley I concur.

    Dear Rachel Notley,

Please stop inventing words and then using them as if they are real. It really confuses the immigrants and refugees, for one thing, and you are supposedly on their side. So quit fucking with their heads in this way.

From a literate’s perspective, Rachel, this habit you have is simply irksome. I know some linguists who are so focused on their work that their only satisfying pastime is long-range target shooting. And to them, people who invent words for their own convenience should be flayed, drawn, then quartered – if not shot outright. Something for your blonde head to consider, Rachel baby…..

      Well said bro.

Sometimes it seems to me that progressives like Notley and Trudeau don’t actually think, but simply toss out stock phrases like “We’re protecting the environment!”; “We support the middle-class”; “Diversity is our strength”; “That’s racist/sexist/islamophobic/(insert favorite progressive slight)!” when they’re CPUs (such as they may have) decide that the circumstances are appropriate for it. They only have a very limited number of responses at their disposal, but boy, they sure make good use of them.

You’ve hit onto something nobody in the media wants to talk about: that Justin Trudeau speaks in stale politically-correct phrases, ad nauseam, to the point of self-parody. Our Big Media masters like the politically-correct talk, of course — that’s why the media cartel supports him. But his talk-in-phrases delivery is so, so hackneyed. But nobody says anything.

  • Millie_Woods

Obviously they’re getting under her skin. Conservative strategists (oxymoron alert) need to come up with ways for opposition members to subtly frame their comments and questions in ways that will tweak her sense of feminine insecurity. She’s a time bomb waiting to spout idiocies from her…wherever.

    • Justin St.Denis

Whoever that conservative strategist is, s/he had better be as incisive as Millie Woods. Millie, that was really, really good!

  • Is this about oil pipelines or what kind of new “fem-idioms” Notley thinks we need to add to the English lexicon?

  • David Murrell

Btw, and this is to you, Catman, but over the years have you been guilty of manspeak? I have detected this in some of your blogging.

  • Linda1000

I can’t stand Notley and crew and I can’t wait for them to be kicked out by Jason Kenney. No, I never voted for her and anyone in AB who did should be ashamed of themselves for being so gullible.

Once a week I give out the University of North Texas award. This week it goes to the Premier of Alberta.
