We need to talk about climate refugees

Climate change is not just about polar bears, it is about all life on our planet, and it poses a threat to humanity as great – or greater – than war or terrorism. Steve Trent warns that climate change is increasingly viewed as a threat to global peace.

Steve Trent is executive director of the Environmental Justice Foundation.

Shitheadism is another more accurate label for the cultlike mental problems the most afflicted among Globull Warming’s sincere followers exhibit.

    • Going vegan, is supposedly, the largest single thing the average person can do to help avoid “global warming”.

When talking with the “global warming” alarmists, I always ask them if they are vegan.

Almost none of these “global warming” alarmists tells me they are vegan.

There sure are a lot of loud mouthed hypocrites.

BS. Extreme poverty and food insecurity are caused by liberal policies. Welfare dependence – local or international – keeps you alive, but barely. Lack of infrastructure caused by war or – in the case of Ontario – really, really bad decisions by government stretching over decades also contributes.

I am not afraid of it being 2* warmer – I am afraid of being out in public in crowded places. I wonder why that is…

I will give them this – in the 4 years prior to the Syrian wars they did experience a drought. This caused a large migration of people into cities. But here’s the thing – Syria would waste about 25% of its water through waste and inefficiency.

Syria has a population of 18 million people and sits on an aquifer about 10x the size of the aquifer that supports Israel and Jordan, a population of about 12 million. When Jordan asked Syria about water sharing, Syria’s response was to dump 4 billion barrels of fresh water into the sea per year. This is 4x the total water consumption of Jordan and Israel combined.

Lebanon is a similar story and rather than share their water with the ‘zionist entity’, the ‘palestinians’ or anyone else, they dump about 1 billion barrels of water into the sea.

The other piece of it that both Lebanon and Syria lose about a quarter of their water through waste, inefficiency and old technology. So rather than use better methods pioneered by Israel they’d rather let their own people die from thirst.

I have spent a winter in Thunder Bay. After that I moved back to southern Ontario. Does that make me a climate refugee?

When you look at the carbon footprint to live in canada by the brutal winter and the odd sweltering summer for Toronto and Windsor . Why would we want Canada to have over 2 billion people along the 49th that will make Global warm worse.
We have one of the highest per-capita power use on the planet but Trudeau wants to let in millions that will pump out about 5 kids per women where co2 output will be blowing people in face like a western Zephyr .
