ANTIFAIL: Low Turnouts At Nationwide ‘Refuse Fascism’ Protests

Refuse Fascism, the group behind this weekend’s multi-city Antifa rallies, claims to be “organizing millions of people to drive out the fascist Trump / Pence regime.” Actual turnout on the first day of their nationwide rallies was far lower.

The group, founded by Revolutionary Communist Party chairman Bob Avakian, took out a full-page ad in the New York Times to promote the rally, and has enjoyed free press in the national media in the past few days.

This is actually a bit of encouraging news. Maybe there aren’t as many crazies out there as we think.

There are more than you think; they are just in hiding because Trump is running things now.

Also helps that Hollywood was unavailable to send anyone.

      • Or they are stoned.

The bulk of protests like this are attended by people who are just ignorant
about the facts and real agendas of the people organizing them and think they are doing good.

This is a sign that we are being succcessful in exposing them.

LA was the highest turnout and most of the signs were in Spanish which likely
means it was all illegals showing up.

The other higher turnout cities also have the highest rate of Food stamp use.

    • Reminds me of the “huge” protest planned somewhere in Europe a while ago, in which tens of thousands of Muslims were expected to turn up and protest against Islamic Terrorism. I think about 100 arrived and they were all Lefty students.

From the initial reports, it looks like a total Pantifa fail.
Nobody showed up from the “far right” for them to attack.
    Beautiful.

  • gaylord ponce

No wonder there was a low turnout. No pussy grabbing was allowed.

Most people refused fascism by not attending their fascist rallies.

maybe all the beta males face cloths were dirty and mom had them ALL in the wash or there was a mixup with the time change. or more likely the sobering realization that ;not only did they not have broad support but that, fed up normal people were prepared to fight back.

George Soros better put more of that $18 Billion he is putting towards commie causes into more Craigslist ads to hire people again to come out to the protests like his funded groups did a few years ago.

  • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

    It’s okay to laugh.

  • Antifa

It is time for us to rise up against all the fascist mothers who grounded us this weekend and would not let us out of the house to go to these protests!

  • roccolore

Maybe smart people realize that “anti-fa” are the real fascists.

  • robins111

I gather the Austin Tx rally had about 30. With over 400 counter protesters. All looking at the masked loons like they were a free range chicken. They quietly rolled up their banners and went home.

  • DaninVan

Bizarre. Most of the current perps are active Democrat supporters and outspoken anti-Trumpers; wtf has Trump got to do with the scenario?
    (That was rhetorical. )

  • What a shame.

  • I don’t know who Bob Avakian is, but this is possibly the stupidest “Communist Revolution” in the history of Communism. Think about it for a minute — just pretend that you are Communist for a minute to try to understand it:

First, let’s assume that we (they) “win” — that the Communist Revolution succeeds. Let’s assume that Trump simply decides to surrender to the low-level street violence and says, “okay folks, I’m sorry but I tried my best, but the Communists have beat us”. So who does Trump turn over the power of the Presidency to? Bob Avakian? To the Communist Party U.S.A.? Are they ready to govern? Since it is a “Communist” revolution then it is obvious that the new leader must be a Communist and the ruling Party must be a Communist Party. But which Communist Party? There are many different ones, all which are differentiated by distinct dogmatic approaches to Communism (e.g. Trotskyite, Marxist-Engels, Marxist-Leninist, Maoist, Bukharin approach, etc.). And in a real Communist revolution the communist approach that comes out on top purges all other communist contenders.

Does Trump have the authority to turn over the Government to a Communist Party even if he wanted to? How about Congress, will they be willing to turn over the U.S. Government to the Communist Party U.S.A., for example? Or if they simply impeach Trump, is Congress willing to turn over the Government to the CPUSA?

Apart from a voluntary turnover, how exactly do they envision the mechanics for doing this? Unless Avakian is perhaps the man with the lowest IQ that a human being has ever possessed, surely he can’t believe that a bunch of street protestors — even if there are millions of them and they arm themselves — are going to militarily overthrow the largest most powerful Military in the world — the U.S. Military, which is sworn to defend the current FREEDOM-based Constitution, not a Socialist constitution. It’s a farce folks, it’s a scam for the purpose of instilling fear — they’re mimicking the Islamists hoping to invoke surrender.

No serious Communist theoretician would consider revolution in the U.S. apart from one method: SUBVERSION. Infiltration and subversion from within. Usually it involves using organizations or political parties that are not known to be overtly Communist. Infiltration of Communist agents into the established Parties already in power until they reach critical mass and effectively function as Communist. The latter of which has already happened, and has successfully moved forward over the course of the years — albeit slowly — with or without the street theater.
