Goldstein: You call this a plan? Liberal electricity blunders costing us billions of dollars

The problem with Premier Kathleen Wynne’s “Long-term energy plan” for Ontario, released Thursday, is that it suggests there’s a plan.

As both opposition parties noted, this plan — the government does one every few years — is a political document designed to get the Liberals through the next election.

    “Both opposition parties” vote whored against the gas fired power plants at election time on the presumption they could both win seats, gain power, and then say sorry can’t stop them. Wynne did the math, figured it would only cost the taxpayers a billion for her to cancel them outright to stay in office and that was that.
