Clintons as tornadoes moving through others’ lives

From Jonah Goldberg at Townhall:

The Clintons saw themselves as better than the institutions they were supposed to serve, from the White House and the State Department to the Democratic Party and even the country. The rules are for other people. That’s why Clinton Inc. collected millions upon millions of dollars from foreign governments, Wall Street and Hollywood while demonizing their opponents as shills for corporations and wealthy interests. That’s why Hillary flouted the rules for her email server. That’s why Bill flouted the rules for pretty much everything.

And at every step, they expected others to protect them, lie for them, clean up after them and, if necessary, go to jail for them.

As James McDougal, a former friend and business partner of the Clintons (in the now ancient Whitewater land deal turned scandal) put it, “I think the Clintons are really sort of like tornadoes moving through people’s lives. I’m just one of the people left in the wake of their passing by.”More.

Reality check: It’s curious that Trump’s bad boy antics seem so much worse to the elite. Our American friend thinks Trump will win in 2020. Readers?

Even optimistic economic commentators have been saying for a while that the stock market is due for a correction. The thing is that the American (and hence much of the world’s) economy has been held back by eight years of Obamanomics (“If it moves, regulate it”), so with Trump steadily reversing and repealing those regulations, opening up options for health care, looking into reforming the tax system (American businesses are the most highly taxed) I can see the “correction” being “mysteriously” avoided and the investment and entrepreneurship that has been suppressed for almost a decade I can see being unleashed over the coming years.

So yes, Trump will be re-elected.

So far, Trump is doing a lot of good things and if he wasn’t impeded by all the Washington traitors at every turn, he would make even more progress. I remember all the doubters on this blog, some even saying he would never become POTUS and now he’s actually being a successful leader. Ha, ha.

America is little different from Brazil r Argentina now. The government and the elites are absolutely corrupt and steal until they can steal anymore. If you’re in ‘public service’ and you’re not worth 20 million dollars you’re a loser.

    • Except for Trump who is independently wealthy, and has refused the Presidential salary.

  • The Clintons are the Borgias of modern USA. Dead bodies lie in their wake, and treason and illegal enrichment, not to mention the rapes. They are evil people, who should be in prison for the rest of their lives. Obama the same.
