SURVEY: 70% Of Canadians Outside Quebec Support Ban On Face-Covering Similar To Bill 62

So, why aren’t more politicians standing up for the views of a clear majority of Canadians?

Because women vote for the hair.

    • Seems some do.

    • Linda1000

Seems many of your beta feminist fellow males do also.

      • BillyHW

Beta feminist males shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

        • Linda1000

OK, do you have a definition or list of who exactly should be allowed to vote in Canada?
I just looked up the pop. distribution for Canada and it’s almost evenly split between males and females so one would think an almost even number of both would vote?
          http://statcan.gc.ca/pub/89-503-x/2010001/article/11475-eng.htm
Women and girls comprise just over half of Canada’s population. In 2010, 17.2 million females accounted for 50.4% of the total population, continuing a slim female majority that has held for over three decades (Table 1). In the data recorded from 1921 to 1971, the percentage of males was slightly higher than that of females. In 1921, 48.5% of the population was female, rising to 49.8% in 1971. Over the past century, gains in life expectancy have benefited women more than men. Lower mortality rates for females throughout most of the life course contributed to a slightly higher share of females than males in the population. According to the medium-growth scenario of the most recent population projections, the female majority would continue for the next 50 years.

          • BillyHW

Men over 30 who pay more in taxes than they collect in benefits, with voting power proportionate to the amount of net taxes they pay.

          • Linda1000

The way Justine and his Lib idiots are ruining the country that might end up being only 1% or 2% of the population.

          • Dave

People should also have to take an exam to prove they have a basic understanding of the issues facing the country. That way they can’t vote for some asshole just because “he has nice hair and is gonna legalize pot”.

          • Maggat

Billy, read Nevil Shute’s book ‘In The Wet’. His thoughts on voting eligibility seemed very undemocratic and radical. Taken into account the mess the free world is in, his thoughts are very interesting and make a lot of sense.

      • Clink9

I don’t know a single Canadian male that likes Trump.

        • jayme

Women definitely do not have a monopoly of stupidity: it seems to be pretty evenly spread between the sexes, as far as I can tell.

        • Linda1000

What? So what is wrong with males in Canada? How can normal hetero males who actually like being males not have some respect or not like Trump who is a fighter and doesn’t back down from anyone and at least tries to keep his word or election promises so far.
Maybe you need to find some new friends? Lol

          • Clink9

I think I would have to move to Texas to find those kind of friends!
Everyone in Southern Ontario I know just regurgitates the classic CBC / Toronto Star horseshit.

I was out having a great boys day last August 2016. Old car / muscle car show down by the lake, back to buddy’s for BBQ burgers, beer etc.

The subject of Trump came up. Lots of typical jokes and bashing. They asked who I thought would win?
I said since March 2016 that Trump will win and still stood by it.

They were just a little blown away by the election in November.
            How did you know??!!

          • Maggat

I think it was easy. I had Trump pegged to win fairly early in the race. Simply by watching the Trump rallies vs the clinton rallies. When you see literally thousands in the stadium and more thousands outside to hear Trump speak vs clinton’s relatively empty halls, with a paid audience, the picture was formed in my mind. Trump will win.

          • Clink9

Yep, don’t know why so many were shocked but it made the election night so much sweeter.

          • Maggat

Linda, it is our duty to try to get people on track to help save our country and down the road, civilization.

        • Dave

So is it due to not knowing many males, knowing too many beta males or you live in a cave? Inquiring minds want to know.
Actually, I think a lot of people are afraid to admit they like Trump because of the grief the will get from so-called friends, family etc.

          • Alain

Yes, that also plays a part.

          • Clink9

I know lots of males having spent decades in a very male oriented workplace.
It’s probably a Toronto bubble thing. Everyone is brainwashed and believes the shit from the media.

        • Alain

Well I am one who does and did from the very start. I find that the anti-Trump Canadians, both male and female, are always people who rely on the MSM for their news and information. Actually it was much the same in my opinion concerning the anti-Harper crowd.

          • Maggat

I find exactly the same thing. If a conversation gets into Trump is an asshole I simply ask, Where do you get your news from. CBC, CNN, CTV, Global, etc. The answer is invariably yes.
I then politely suggest that the get off their dumb asses and try to find alternate sources, ON THE INTERNET.

          • Lightstream

Yeah, my sister thinks the sun rises and sets on CNN, but she’s very slowly seeing the truth with the emails I send her about what’s actually happening (thanks to Blazingcatfur et al.).

  • tom_billesley

    Politicians are protected from deplorables.

  • ontario john

The elites know what is best for Canada. They have always had that attitude. I can remember when the death penalty debate was in full swing, and parliament decided to end it. This even though the majority of Canadians were in favour of the death penalty. The media, politicians, and educational establishment, hate the idea of the peasants having a say on how the country is run. We masses are just tolerated to pay the bills and keep quiet.

  • Liberal Progressive

Clearly those 70% don’t have Liberal values and need to either be sent to reeducation camps to learn how to think correctly or be deported probably to the Middle East or Africa!

  • CodexCoder

It is called apathy. If your children, for example, flaunted your house rules directly to your face, there would be immediate consequences (if you have any sense of reality). But because of the loss of hope and the feeling of helplessness when it comes to the political directions of this country, we let the elite trample over our wishes regularly. The politicians and their bureaucracy have lost their fear of us, and that is not a good thing. Start flooding their offices with emails, go to their riding offices, and get in their faces. Be a gadfly in their noses and they will start to listen or suffer the consequences of inaction. You won’t win this by sitting on the sidelines. Trudeau and his ilk consider you to be mindless pockets that they can pilfer whenever they deem it so and because there are no consequences, they do it with impunity, just like children pushing the boundaries at every opportunity.

    • PaulW

Well said. If nothing else, it’s better to go down fighting, than sullenly, fearfully silent.

  • Sharkibark

I clearly cannot / should not walk into a bank or my local convenience store wearing a motorcycle helmet or rubber mask. If I am wearing a scarf or balaclava over my face because it’s a screaming -40* outside, I am glad to remove it once inside, even if only for a few minutes. This is common sense, that the majority of Canadians understand. It seems to be sorely lacking among our politicians.

  • barryjr

Politicians and the media don’t want a ban on face coverings as it would mean their thugs in Antifa and Black Block would have to expose their cowardly faces. No face coverings means recognition which means less brown shirts and therefore less intimidation.

  • bargogx1

I guess the brainwashing isn’t working so well. Unfortunately, that just means there will be more of it.

  • How valuable are the votes of Islamists or Big Aboriginal that one would screw over seventy percent of the population?
