PragerU Sues YouTube and Google over Alleged Censorship of Conservatives

PragerU, the conservative digital media organization from Dennis Prager, is suing YouTube and its parent Google over alleged censorship of their videos.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the lawsuit, which was filed on Monday, “says YouTube’s more than 30 million visitors a day make the site so elemental to free speech in the digital age that it should be treated as a public forum.”

Why shouldn’t YouTube have to bake Dennis Prager’s cake?

      Where is the ACLU?

Good luck to Prager U. At the very least, perhaps this will put the fear of the Almighty into Youtube et al, so that they “voluntarily” alter their policies toward conservatives.

    • The digital giants need to be broken up!

I have watched dozens of Prager videos. All have been professional productions. They present facts and opinion. I have seen nothing that deserves to be censored.

The digital giants have too much power. Break them up.

As much as I love Prager and dislike Youtube and Google executives I do not believe this lawsuit has a chance in hell. They are basically using the lefts tactics against them. I think they would have had a better chance initiating an anti-trust suit against Google and YouTube that would then force them to allow uncensored videos.

They need to be classified as the utilities that they are in today’s world.

Agreed. I am surprised that a guy as bright as Prager made this move when the case likely has no legs. Even if he wins the case can be used as a precedent to force other companies to do things against there beliefs.

My Youtube browsing doesn’t extend to the popular culture areas but the tiny stuff I see that they choose to pick on seem so innocuous as to be laughable. You would think their rival start ups could do extremely well by catering to mentally intact adults but my forays into their efforts have been somewhat bewildering and uninteresting to be kind.
