Patrick Brown odds on favourite to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Islam is a race according to Patrick Brown aka “The Vote Whore in Short Pants” and the alleged leader of the party that can’t defeat the province’s most despised Premier.

Quebec Law will stand as they have never signed the Charter of Rights and are not governed by English Law. Quebec operates under Napoleonic Code and should the Feds challenge the Law can always use the `Not withstanding` right that they have.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

All provinces can invoke the notwithstanding clause.

      • Bernie

Only Quebec has the `Not Withstanding ability. All others have signed onto the Charter of Rights and can not back out!

        • Alain

I believe you are mistaken that other provinces and the federal government cannot invoke the notwithstanding clause. Having signed onto the charter (by the way not what judicial activist judges changed afterwards) does not mean they must go along with further judicial overreach.

          • Bernie

Not mistaken. Iam a refugee from Quebec and have lived through many Legal issues before moving to Ontario.Quebec is the only Province that has the ” not with ” and I challenge you to prove otherwise.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            Bernie, wiki, come on, man.
            You’re wrong.

          • Bernie

Not wrong. Wiki is not an authority as it is a collection of data input by non authoritative sources. As previously noted, you need to research Law Statutes and Cases. Quebec is the only Province that has ” Not With “.

Why does Quebec use Napoleonic law if it was ruled by the British since before Napoleon was born?

      • Bernie

        That`s the Law in Quebec.

      • Alain

Because after conquest Britan made the mistake of allowing them to retain their language, culture and judicial system.

        • canminuteman

But that happened in 1759. Napoleon wasn’t born until 1769, So the French colony of Quebec could never have been governed according to the Napoleonic code without some weird time travel thing

          • Bernie

Quebec has adopted the Napoleonic Code as their basis for Law. It has nothing to do with governance. Look it up. Learn your history.

          • canminuteman

“In 1763, at the conclusion of the Seven Years’ War, France ceded sovereignty over Quebec to Britain, in the Treaty of Paris. The British Government then enacted the Royal Proclamation of 1763[3] which set out the principles for the British government of the colony. In particular, the Royal Proclamation provided that all courts in Quebec were to decide “… all Causes, as well Criminal as Civil, according to Law and Equity, and as near as may be agreeable to the Laws of England.” This provision displaced the Paris customary law for all things civil and criminal. However, in 1774, the British Parliament passed the Quebec Act,[4] which re-instated the civil law legal system for private law in general and property law in particular.
The key provision of the Quebec Act was s. VIII, which provided that all disputes relating to “Property and Civil Rights” were to be decided by the former law of Quebec. This phrase was carried forward as s. 92(13) of the British North America Act, 1867.[5] This section granted all the provinces, including Quebec, the exclusive power to legislate with respect to private civil law matters. While the other provinces operate under common law, Quebec continues to apply civil law toward civil private law matters. In areas of law under federal jurisdiction, however, Quebec is, like its fellow Canadian provinces and territories, subject to common law. Quebec has therefore a bijuridical legal system.”

I am quite familiar with history. The quote above is from “

Modern Quebec civil law has evolved from the system of civil law in place under the French Crown as established in 1673. So Yes, Quebec does have a civil law system that is different than in the rest of Canada, but to call it “Napoleonic Code”, which many people do, is absolutely 100 percent flat out wrong.

          • Bernie

Point taken. When you go to Court in Quebec, they do not use “Old English ” Law as it is called in the rest of Canada ( R.O.C. ) but a French version. Quebec does not have to abide by the Charter of Rights as is noted when English language has 2ndry status and is not considered to have Official Status in the Province. All contracts of any kind are written in French unless both parties sign off and agree to an English version. If the contract is written only in English without both parties acceptance, it has no legal enforcement.
Hence the Charter of Rights was never fully accepted by Quebec and a a such is only fully acceptable and enforceable in R.O.C.
This is the reason why Bill #62 will never be directly challenged by the Federal System. Quebec currently acts and operates as defacto Soverenty Association is already in place and enacted. Hence the Laws in the R.O.C are replaced by French equivalent or Napolionic Code as is commonly called.

because the brits were pussies and let them

    • Then watch Trudeau lose Quebec.

      I’m actually rooting for this.

The lust for power by the shape-shifting Patsy Brownnose and his equally avaricious ‘brain trust’ (the party executive and back-room types) has rendered them tone deaf to the true feelings of their rapidly vanishing base. Only dyed-in-the-wool, uninformed Phake Conservatives remain.

Ontario — no longer a place to stand and a place to grow unless you’re covered:

      Everyone sing after me:
Ontari_ari_ari_oh…A place to stand and a place to grow_with special rules if you pray to Mo.

        Marty, you’re gifted.

      • Heh;)

      • Canadian Born

Perfectly said, and unless Canadians take a stand now and stop this bullshit, Ontario and Canada will be lost to Muslims. Who to blame? That would be the Liberal voters that voted these morons into power. I have and always will vote Conservative.

Yes! But we have traitorous folls within our ranks.

I hate that piece of propaganda.

Just called Browns office. He will be getting back to me to let me know what race he is referring too. Should be fun

    • Alain

Maybe also ask about the Christian “race” and the Buddhist “race”, should he get back to you.

    • Keep us posted.

      • Del Evans

My question to Brown. “How can you call all those who support this law racist?” As of now no response from Brown. I did call back and spoke with same assistant as last time. First he [assistant] tried to say it was racist against people of the Middle East. I reminded him that the burka is not worn by all Arabs and even if it was it is not always Arabs wearing it. The assistant then tried to tell me that the word racist has many meanings and that it was used because the new law only affects one group. I asked him if he and Brown needed a dictionary.
Assistant then went on to say that Brown called the law racist and not it’s supporters. A laughable claim considering laws don’t appear out of thin air and must be promoted, implemented and enforced by people. Getting bored with the conversation I said “Fine, lets go with that story. Now tell me how the law is racist and what race is being attacked” Mr assistant then went back to the same argument that some words do not mean what they mean. Ya know what I mean? And that he did not see any way that he could make me change my mind or help me. I told him it was simple. Get Brown to answer WHAT RACE? I then reminded him that I was told Brown would respond by phone and asked what the chances are of that happening. He could not say.

  • CodexCoder

To Patrick Brown: Arabs are a race. Not all Muslims are Arab.A race is: a
group of people of common ancestry, distinguished from others by
physical characteristics, such as hair type, colour of eyes and skin,
stature, etc. Principal races are Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid (courtesy of

Islam is a cultural group, not a race. It has vestiges of a religion but as it seeks world domination for its own sake, it looks very much like an ideology like communism. And yes, you are going to lose to Kathleen Wynne because you are listening to the wrong people and are willing to kiss anyone for the sake of power (Just like Wynne and McGuinty).

  • Jabberwokk

With conservatives like these who needs liberals?

    • Alain

He must be trying to outdo the new federal NDP leader.

      • Jabberwokk

ugggggh… there no hope for Ontario?

        • Justin St.Denis

          Nope, not at the moment.

        • None.

        • occupant 9

There is no hope for “Canada”. Apparently, PM Treason is very popular across the North American land mass north of the 49th parallel.

I used to have hope for Alberta but not with NDP and Nenshi being potently fueled by the media who are lock step Progressives.

      • A Hamilton Guy

Ya’: That guy is already pulling the race bullshit. He’s Caucasian just like I am. And I’m a Mick!

  • ntt1

the very fact this sexually indeterminate creature calls its self a progressive conservative indicates how confused he actually is. If you vote in lockstep with the liberal part then why stand as an opposition leader? perhaps its all about offering the softer feminine side of liberal politics that Wynne is just too butch to offer.

  • Krista Kay
  • ontario john

So while Brown is walking with Wynne in the pervert parade next summer, the rest of Ontario will be trying to figure out what exactly is different between the two parties. Because I sure as hell can’t figure out the difference.

    • A Hamilton Guy

We’ll have a hard time deciding who is the cutest.

    • He looks a bit better in a dress.

    • Alain

You the difference between the Dyke and the Bottom?

  • felis gracilis

According to an Angus Reid poll 87% of Quebecois support the intent of this Bill. And these diversity-addled, bumwad politicians from Ontario want an unelected judge somewhere to over-rule the will of the people of another province, as expressed in their lawfully constituted legislature. Why don’t they pay attention to their own knitting – aren’t there enough problems in Ontario?
All provinces are entitled to use the Notwithstanding Clause. Quebec is one of only three provinces (the others are Saskatchewan and Alberta), that has shown itself willing to actually use it.

  • A Hamilton Guy

I may cancel my Ontario PC membership if that sleezy fool remains as leader.

  • Maxsteele

I was already about 95% sure I was going to sit the next election out after all of Brown’s flip-flop socialist stances on issues. Yet, after this one, I am done. Let the house burn down and let us rebuild it from scratch.
