The Greatest Scandal

They all knew what they signed up for.

Britain’s greatest scandal goes largely unremarked, but a couple of days ago the truth finally came out. Max Hill QC, the government’s terror tsar, admitted that as a matter of policy the government is not prosecuting returning IS jihadis. In a Radio 4 interview he said:

“We are told we do have a significant number already back in this country who have previously gone to Iraq and Syria.

“That means that the authorities have looked at them and looked at them hard and have decided that they do not justify prosecution and really we should be looking at reintegration and moving away from any notion that we are going to lose a generation from this travel.

In the words of the first and greatest anti-suffragette, Kathy Shaidle, “Dear Luftwaffe, please come back. All is forgiven.”

And you honestly think the Turdeau Liberals would do anything differently?

    • Alain

Yes, short-pants would be giving them huge financial rewards, so that is different.

  • Maurice Miner

Great Britain is now officially irretrievably FUBAR.

    It was nice knowing you.

    • Alain

As our mother country and the birth of the Marga Carta and democracy unknown to Europe and the world at the time, I find it extremely sad.

    • I’ll never forget Shakespeare.

“That England, which was wont to conquer others,
Hath made a shameful conquest of itself.” – “Richard II”

Look at this turd. Just look at him. And he’s the UK’s Terror Watchdog!

Reintegration? Re-integration? They were never integrated in the first place, that’s why they joined Islamic State! Oh what’s the use.

    • Alain

Again using civilian courts to deal with enemy combatants is insanity.

      • tom_billesley

        Bullets are better.

    • Bla Bla

Traitorous swill. They of course will go after old men and women who protest against islam with the full extent of law (or rules that are made up as they go). They are really jonesing for a damn civil war over there.

    • Bla Bla

Additionally, one day in front of court, he’ll cry that he was just ‘following orders’ from above.

If Justine put on the same wig and glasses, they could be cousins?

      • mobuyus

They would at the least have sex.

  • Brett McS

So they are not prosecuting these terrorists because the government doesn’t want the public to find out that the majority of Muslims in Britain would get upset if these Jihadis were refused the right of return, or prosecuted. In other words put it in the “too hard” basket, the problem is too big.

    • Alain

They are all tied up hunting down and prosecuting native Britons who said anything negative about Islam or Muslims.

      • Bla Bla

And then locking them up and killing them off – notice not much was released on the guy who left a bacon sandwich at a mosque, then conveniently died in prison…

  • Solo712

Let me use my clairvoyant powers and predict that after the next Islamic massacre in Britain Theresa May (or her replacement) will say: “This is outrageous! We must do more to stop this!”

  • Red-Pilled Conservative

Using the civilian courts to go after returning ISIS troopers is silly anyway. They should be hoovered up at their points of entry and remanded directly to military prisons, to face military tribunals for treason, and promptly hanged.

    • Alain

Thank you for your voice of reason and sanity.

  • Hard Little Machine

We’d all like to be shocked and outraged but we’re not. Britain is at a crossroads. Either a totalitarian police state with terrorist violence or a totalitarian police state without terrorist violence. Either way you’re being played for mugs.

  • Sid Falco

He’s a coward. He’s more concerned about a knock on the door from jihadis rather doing the right thing. He should be sacked.

  • WalterBannon

Britain’s Gestapo douche forces are sharia compliant and pro-ISIS

  • tom_billesley

lose a generation ? We’re talking 850 known to have travelled to join IS. That won’t make a demographic dent in the muslim millions in the UK.

  • D.Plorable

The flaming insanity of white liberals like this is one of the things that make we wonder sometimes is the explanation for this behavior could really be something rooted in the occult. Just plain infantile pseudo-superiority (as in the US collegiate environment) just doesn’t seem adequate.
