With Quebec’s face-covering ban poised to become law, bus drivers seek ‘clear directives’

Islamic child abuse

Montreal bus drivers are hoping for clarity — and bracing themselves for headaches — as Quebec moves to pass legislation that would require a Muslim woman who wears a niqab or burka to uncover her face to ride a city bus.

The Liberal government’s Bill 62 on religious neutrality would prohibit public workers, as well as those receiving a public service, from covering their face.

The law would apply to municipal services, including public transit. The guidelines for how those working in the public sector should carry out the law, however, may not be ready until next summer, after a round of consultations.

And once you’ve revealed your face to take the bus or receive your welfare cheque, there really isn’t a reason any longer to cover your islamic-supremacist face anywhere at all. (Except of course for the projecting that you’re an islamic-supremacist part.)

The supreme court will likely over rule this.

So, Quebec is not shy about invoking the notwithstanding clause. It is a disgrace that the federal government even under Harper and the other provincial governments refuse to use it.

“I don’t have a car, I don’t have anybody to drive me around, so it will just block me from the rest of the world.”

But isn’t that exactly what the face mask is designed to do anyway?

How about going back to your own country. That is what the reply to her should have been.

Simple the law says show your face so show it. It is your personal choice to wear a face covering, not a health requirement or a law. If you don’t like it fuck off back to whatever 3rd world shithole that allows them to be worn. As to the bus drivers very simple if they are wearing a face covering don’t let them on the bus, do your job and quit whining.
