Think You Know How Slanted the Media Is? Read This

media bias

Every Republican and/or Conservative can spend hours pontificating about how the Mainstream Media (MSM) does not come close to presenting the facts fairly; it is grossly biased. That has grown exponentially since Donald Trump became president. Read this and you will not doubt the veracity of this scenario.

“They will always run a column by the other side when they can use it to advance their own arguments.”
The single important sentence in the article.

Especially when it comes to Ben Shapiro.
I don’t think he’s on the other side of them at all. I think he’s building his brand as a dissident leftist, marketed as a conservative, when he’s nothing of the sort.
Ben Shapiro is making himself into a conservative that is palatable to leftist so that they can trot him out on occasion and say “look, we gave one of yours a chance” when in reality he’s managed opposition.
As long as he stays that way, he gets his books published and he makes money, so he’s never leaving that reservation unless they kick him off.

I’d disagree, I think he’s very much to the right. I believe he just thinks what he thinks and doesn’t give anyone a free pass because they are on “his side”. Right now he is a useful tool to the left since he disgrees with Trump on a great many things, or to be more accurate his methods, and isn’t afraid to say it. They now can (and have) been giving him much more room in the mainstream since having a conservative that’s willing to slam Trump plays into their narrative, and he’s been more than willing to go along with it as it does help extend his brand.

I find it disappointing with Sapiro being right on just about every issue except Trump, and I find his pettiness even now when it concerns Trump more than a little bit annoying. On that he fits right in with the “Never Trump” crowd.

“18 year old — son was trading blows with the Taliban along the
Pakistani border in 2003, he and his fellow paratroopers could actually
watch the news in their fire base. He told me that they preferred Al
Jezeera over CNN because “it was less biased.” . And, that was 14 years ago. “

Canadian newspapers are just as bad, leaving behind real news and replacing it with anti-Trump editorial. I guess these “journalists” forget that they alienate more than half of their readership (and potential success) when they do that.

The free market will eventually weed them out.

“But we must try because otherwise those poor people will live with their misguided thoughts for the rest of their lives.”

I am no-longer willing to believe such sentiments and I hope that this author does not waste his life pursuing such a course.

If you can’t believe that S.S. camp guards were merely misguided, then you don’t have the luxury of believing members of a movement guilty of far worse atrocities than the Nazis (leftists and communists) are misguided.
They are evil, and so they latched on to ideas that reflects their mendacity and satisfies their predatory urges.
‘The feelings’ always comes before the theory, and therefor ‘the feeling’ cannot be changed by a new theory, no matter how well reasoned.
This author is mistaken. You cannot talk bad into being good. You must defeat and disempower them.
The “good Jews” are already on his side, while he is incapable of talking the “bad Jews” down from their authoritarian perch.

I’m gobsmacked that anyone to the right of Stalin could ever imagine sans drugs that Foward could come within spitting distance of fair ever.
