Usual whiners upset by “The Wall” Halloween costume

People are furious about Party City’s ‘Wall’ costume

Halloween is on the horizon, which means that the early contenders for offensive costumes are hitting the stores.

Party City has become the latest retailer to come under fire after releasing its “Adult Wall Costume.”

The company does not outright mention President Donald Trump’s immigration policy in the costume description, but the getup has led many social media users to comment that it’s a reference to his border wall proposal.

    • Probably gonna add blackface and a sombrero.

      • Mark Matis

And a pussy hat as well. Atop the sombrero…

But then you’ll need to make sure the unshaved pits are more visible.

    • Awesome!

    • Malcolm Y

You in heap big trouble – don’t forget the smallpox blanket.

It’s a reference to Pink Floyd. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Anybody who sees it differently is racist.

    • Floydsterism!

      • Editor

        Will the microagressions ever stop!?

    • LittleRed1

That was my first thought. Say you are a ‘Floyd fan, and if they disagree, thump them with a pig-shaped balloon. Or a stuffed animal, still pig shaped.

      • Editor

Oooohh! You’re pushing the enveloppe with the pig thing. Didn’t you see this post?

The mere wearing if a pig hat will now get you at least detained if not arrested. Those vague and ill-defined laws are doing wonders for community cohesion.

    • Dana Garcia

If guy wearing the Wall costume was referring to the border wall, he would have worn a sombrero to be clear about which wall.

So yes, Pink Floyd it is.

    • Minicapt

“As the province’s first socialist Finance Minister, Laughren was nicknamed “Pink Floyd” by the right-wing Sun Media tabloid newspapers.”

  • Hard Little Machine

I’m going as Steve Paddock shooting an abortionist

  • Sharkibark
  • Norman_In_New_York

If these critics view Trump’s wall with horror, well, that’s what Halloween is supposed to be about.

  • Tooth&Claw

Hmmm I seem to recall a song by Pink Floyd seeing this costume.

  • Justin St.Denis

Perhaps I am very old-school, but that costume evokes Pink Floyd’s “THE WALL” more than anything else.
