Trump’s ‘Calm before the Storm’ is a Message to North Korea and Iran

Reporters continue scratching their heads about what PresidentTrum p meant when he spoke of the “calm before the storm” Thursday as he was hosting a dinner for military commanders and their spouses. It seems clear to me that he was sending a powerful message to North Korea and Iran: change your behavior now, or prepare to face new but unspecified painful consequences.

No good will come out of this for lil’ kimmy.

North Korea is not going to give up its nuclear weapons so Trump just has two choices 1) strike N Korea militarily – which will result in the deaths of millions including 10,000’s of American’s and the start of WW3 with China 2) accept the reality that N Korea is a nuclear power and do nothing. This will leave him looking weak. He has boxed himself into a corner with his tough talk.

  • I think it was just an off-the-cuff comment in response to the incessant scrutiny of the left-wing vulture, voyeur press. Trump was in the middle of posing for a large group photo when the press kept interrupting and throwing ridiculous questions, as they always do. What did the press expect for an answer? — that Trump would stop the photo op and give a full-fledged “State of the Union” address on the spot?

The Left press is always unreasonable, and conservatives are morons when they continually fall into the trap of answering unreasonable questions with “reasonable” answers. By the way, I am a moron myself for wasting my time by pointing it out — if conservatives haven’t figured it out by now then they never will…

    What about Canada?

Has the discussion about joining in a missle defence system fallen by the wayside? Or, will Canadians just keep praying that when lil’ kimmy launches a few errant missiles that they hit the political centre of the universe, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal?

    • They won’t be “errant” missiles. Enemies of the U.S. know that in wartime Canada allies with the U.S. During the cold war we were targets of Soviet missiles — not because the Soviets feared an attack from Canada but because we are an important allied arms producer during times of war. In WWII the Canadian steel industry was pumping out tanks and ships faster than the “My Pillow” guy can pump out pillows.
