Trudeau’s NEP redux: a No-Energy Program

When he was prime minister in the 1980s, Pierre Trudeau beggared the West with his NEP – the infamous National Energy Program.

Now, his son Justin appears intent on beggaring the West again with a new NEP – a No-Energy Program.

Being a country which is mostly in a northern climate and even artic zone, no one can exist without consuming energy to survive the long winters, so energy consumption will continue and even increase thanks to massive immigration/refugees. This means that instead of becoming self-sufficient in energy, we shall need to import all energy to meet our needs which destroys the economy completely. This is even without mentioning the loss of domestic jobs and opportunities.

Justin Trudeau did run on a solar cell platform to become elected: “Sunny ways my friends. Sunny ways.” And as far as he’s concerned, that’s all that is needed to run the country and supply its energy.

Is this turdeau’s aim? I can’t see rhyme or reason to any of his policies. He can’t be as pig headed as he seems.
An old Chinese curse, ” May you live in interesting times” sure seems to be where we’re heading.

    Low energy Justin.

    “Pierre Trudeau beggared the West”

Typo, BCF; spelt with a ‘u’.

      “Wust”?

It has to actually be a real word, M.M. 😉

Apparently, there is a large and growing movement in Alberta to succeed from CanaDUH – because of the upcoming tax plan, and the HUGH, MASSIVE transfer payments to Quebec. If TrueDOPE pushes this crap though, it will gather many, MANY more supports to the separation movement – which could be a good thing.

Hope that is true, but first Alberta needs to throw the NDP and all the other Liberals including fake conservatives out.

      • terrence22

The nest election should see that happen (hopefully, at least)

Are you implying there are REAL conservatives still living? I’ve heard rumours, but…

I’ve been there since 1980. “Canada’s” only use for the West was to fleece us to enrich themselves, which they have done AND squandered to boot.

PM Treason is especially dangerous because he is vacuous and a true Believer in the Soros mission which is fundamentally at odds with his job description.

It would be interesting to check who owns tankers bringing oil to Canada.

or the ports or the rail cars

A large supplier would be Canada Steam Ship Lines, owned by the Martin Family, especially one Paul Martin. They are now Canada Steamship Lines in name only since Paul deflagged his ships as Canadian Carriers, sacked the Canadian Crews, and hired third world sub par crews to run them. Also for tax purposes they are HQed out of the Bahamas. It pays to be either a Liberal or Liberal supporter these days.

It would not be a surprise to wake up some morning and discover all the “bad oil resources ” in Canada had been nationalized at rock bottom prices and gifted to First Nations front groups of the Lieberal persuasion.

Shut up you! Your nightmare is their dream; don’t give them horrible ideas because they already generate more than enough of them on their own.
