Feminist Academics Protest ‘Racist’ Law Against Street Harassment

A group of feminist academics have rallied against plans to make street harassment illegal in France, on the grounds that new laws could “stigmatise” men with migrant backgrounds.

“It is well known that racialised young men from the working classes already suffer more than other people from police violence and oppression,” assert the academics, in a letter opposing equality minister Marlène Schiappa’s announcement that MPs are working on legislation to reduce street harassment.

If this isn’t absolute and irrefutable proof that “feminism” is just another offshoot or facet of leftism, then no amount of proof will ever suffice.

Note however that these same “feminists” have absolutely ZERO problem stigmatizing and fostering hatred for white males.

We need a sign that says “I punch feminists” because they are no different than gendered Nazis, but with hairy armpits.

    • Alain

Feminism has always been part of cultural marxism, and this is just more proof.

Perhaps, but I bet most feminists DON’T know that.
Oh, how to peel away their naive base of supporters.

        • Felix_Culpa

One could say “most feminists don’t know anything”, actually!

i understood ernie rohm was offed because he did shave his armpits and was considered more nancy than nazi.

It’s strange that they don’t protest the way men are stigmatized by sexist law enforcement seeking male suspects for rape crimes.

I wanted to jot this down before I forget.

Perhaps we should be paying more attention as to what group’s causes or aims get subsumed (or just go away and ceased to be mentioned) in certain contexts when they conflict with another group’s behaviours.
If white men were raping and catcalling women, then we would never hear the end of it and it would be used as a justification for all sorts of new criminal offenses that haven’t even been thought of yet.

Don’t think in terms of “to learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize”; which is often falsely falsely attributed to Voltaire but doesn’t really appear before 1993.
Instead think whose stated and documented concerns suddenly vanish or become very selectively enforced at the expense of a narrowly focused group (straight, white, Christian, males – exclusively) in the face of another grievance faction.
Dominant grievance factions are not static and they can change over time, and sometimes rapidly, and so are instead adjusting to the perceived needs or effectiveness of the greater or superior organ of leftism at the time.

    Is everyone still with me?
I think this is a real useful tool analyze and to unmask political and social leftism and to finally go on the offensive against it.

At least, here in the States we have the 14th Amendment right to equal protection of the laws. One of these days, some hotshot lawyers may decide that this little provision guides their way to fame and fortune.

Good observation. A lot of “green” stuff is like that too–they never complain about China’s pollution, only the western world’s. Environmental concerns just disappear in the context of communism.

      • DavidinNorthBurnaby

The greenie types invariably turn out to be watermelons. Green on the outside red on the inside.

I think much of environmentalism, since at least the 1960’s to 1970’s has been an attempt to engineer scarcity for both money and control of our lives.
We should at this point have cheap electricity coming out of our ears between coal, nuclear, or even hydroelectric power, but the environmentalists have found a way to demonize all of them and have put forward the two worst ideas possible, solar and wind.
With cheap energy comes freedom and independence, and a lessening of a need to be held in a job you hate living in a place you don’t like.

Another reason not to visit France as if there weren’t enough already.

  • Alain

Drop all of them in any of the numerous no-go zones already.

    • Mark Matis

Better yet, dress like a Muslim and help them enjoy their fantasy!

      • Alain

No thanks. I have yet to find an acceptably attractive feminazi.

    • bargogx1

The ones they claim don’t exist.

  • Hard Little Machine

Let’s work to end the criminal stigma of rape in France. Legalize it now !!

    • ntt1

like fauxcahontas Warren says at least if muslims rape them ,they get free abortions.

  • ntt1

Besides, even if it is negative , its the only reaction fat chicks with cool aid hair are likely to get out side the cloisters of feminism.

  • Ed

It’s easy to take their position when you’re so butt ugly you’re at no risk.

  • Michael Onoo

Any chance the feminists are not the one being harassed by men? I have never seen a feminist I would call attractive.
