Traitor Bowe Bergdahl to plead guilty to desertion, misbehavior

Bergdahl’s decision to plead guilty rather than face trial marks another twist in an eight-year drama that caused the nation to wrestle with difficult questions of loyalty, negotiating with hostage takers and America’s commitment not to leave its troops behind. President Donald Trump has called Bergdahl a “no-good traitor” who “should have been executed.”

Susan Rice was just giving the Taliban’s assessment of Bergdahl, not the US military’s.

    Smells like a plea bargain.

He has one useless lawyer if he hasn’t applied for asylum in Canada yet. Shithead would welcome him as a hero and hand him the keys to the bank vault.

Going over to the enemy is rather more than just desertion and misbehaviour. Just saying.

Did Bergdahl do it to save the local sheep and goats from the oversexed Taliban? “I’m here to stand in for those poor goats. All of them. However long it takes.”

They used to execute deserters. I long for the good old days.

I do not have a problem about no longer executing deserters per se, but traitors should face a firing squad in my opinion. Mind you that does not mean I think deserters should get away with a slap on the wrist only, just that much depends on the situation.
