Stephen Paddock: Killing for Kicks?

Black-hearted Stephen Paddock was a gambling addict—a fact that shouldn’t be overlooked in analyzing his motives.

Most of the analyses about Stephen Paddock’s Las Vegas massacre have focused on a political or social motive. Was he an anti-government racist? Did he hate conservatives? Was he in fact, as ISIS keeps claiming, a Muslim jihadi? These arguments, and more, are plausible, but the hunt for motive obscures what seems more likely to be the real reason Paddock shot hundreds of people: that he did it for fun.

I think converted first which then legitimized his actions/ “fun” as his new Allah commands/approves of it (no sin)

With the information presently available I think the writer pretty much spot on.

      Ditto.*

*Subject to change with incoming info of course.

One detail which lends credence to this theory is the fact that Paddock scoped out the Chicago Lolapalooza concert. However, lots of loose-hanging threads like the possibility/probability of multiple shooters (audio tapes will have to be analyzed).

I am losing interest in teasing out the ‘why’.

My theory: He’s so vehemently anti gun, he wanted to show what a highly motivated and organized individual can do with legal firearms that it would whip up such an emotional fervor to bully politicians to do something radical…. you know… for the children.
