Time for Trump to Decertify the Iran Deal

For all the talk of “morons” Wednesday — did Rex Tillerson call Donald Trump a moron and what does that mean, if anything — the real issue for those not transfixed by media gotcha games is the certification, or not, of something truly moronic: the Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA).

In normal times, devoid of mass murderers and endless natural disasters, the looming October 15 certification decision on this deal would be front and center in the national consciousness. It still should be because, ultimately, it is even more important than hurricanes and psychopathic killers. It’s about nuclear war.

With respect to hurricanes and psychopathic killers, Edward Gibbon described history as little more than a record of the crimes, follies and misfortunes of mankind.

The Iranian position that their nuclear research is for “peaceful purposes” is a perfect Islamic dissimulation. People in the West take that to mean no military purpose. People within Islam see the imposition of the Shariah under a global caliphate, even if obtained by military means, as a peaceful purpose. Don’t say they didn’t tell you exactly what they are doing.

Yes, indeed, the “peace” of pizzlam is the conversion of Infidels or making them “rest-in-peace”, 6 feet under. But even if the entire world was to be converted to pizzlam there would be no real peace, they would just fight among themselves.
