Suspected terrorist bomb found in Paris under truck belonging to construction firm accused of funding ISIS

Lafarge, the biggest cement supplier in the world, is at the centre of a growing scandal in France because of its former links with Isis

A suspected terrorist bomb linked to a ‘rudimentary ignition device’ was found in Paris underneath a truck belonging to a multinational construction firm accused of funding Islamic State.

The discovery today was made during a check of the Lafarge cement mixer in the city’s northern 19th arrondissement.

Anti-terrorist police were called to deal with the bottles of petrol, which were all made safe and then confiscated along with the primitive switch.
