Swiss Green Party MP resigns after saying Nazis treated Jews better than people treat pigs

A controversial remark has cost a member of the Swiss Green party his place on the National Council. Talking during a debate on a fair food initiative, the MP said that farmed pigs have no chance of survival, unlike Jews at Auschwitz concentration camp.

Speaking at the National Council debate last week, the 40-year old politician Jonas Fricker criticized transportation of the animals sent to slaughter by comparing it with the deportation of the Jews during World War II.

Figures the a$$hole is a member of the Green Party.

    • Even in Canada, Green parties seem to attract the Nazi-supporting type.

Before celebrating, consider the following announcement by the Greens as to who would replace Fricker:

Irene Kälin, member of the Grand Council of Aargau, will replace him at the National. Aged 30, she entered the cantonal legislature in 2010. She was at the top of the list for the 2015 federal election, but had obtained about 3,000 votes less than Jonas Fricker. A trade union secretary and Islamologist, Irene Kälin had also applied to the Council of States.

That doesn’t seem to be a significant improvement.

I confess that in my much more innocent (prefer that to ignorant) youth as a young adult, I actually thought the Green Party was about conservation and protecting the environment and joined as a member. What I mean is that I was under the impression that they were for clean air, water and earth, since I had no awareness of the eco-fascists at that time. As I started to receive their publications and what I promoted I quickly realised I had been misled. Even then they were promoting pretty much a total marxist agenda, which educated me and ended any donation to that lot. By the way regardless of the country they are the same.
