Cheerleaders At Texas High School Kneel During National Anthem

The protests during the national anthem at NFL games this past weekend has sparked a flurry of criticism and controversy, but that is not all. A group of cheerleaders in Texas was apparently inspired by the NFL players also knelt during the national anthem. During a game between McCallum and Lyndon B. Johnson high schools, around six cheerleaders decided to protest during the national anthem by taking a knee. No other students from either high school knelt during the anthem.
