Pinterest blocks Jihad Watch as “hate speech”

Here is yet another manifestation of what I have noted frequently lately: that the Left is using Charlottesville as its Reichstag Fire moment, to choke off all dissent.

Most content at Pinterest is photos. Some people have political boards. The users seem to trend right.

As you may or may not know, I use Pinterest to gather the Evening Photos in groups of 16. I have an elaborate system going, with special boards containing just horizontal format photos of snow scenes, sunsets, etc.

I’m up to about 128K photos and I have over 16K followers.

I decided that I would have NO political content. I even create separate boards for places like the Crimea, so Crimea photos don’t have to be on the Russia board or the Ukraine board. The Caucasus is full of “disputed” areas so it has its own board too.

The rules on places like Jihad Watch can be easily circumvented, but it’s extra work. Copy the picture to your device’s photo area. Load from there. Add the URL manually.

    Definitely a Reichstag fire thing.
