Save The Children workers filmed ‘co-operating with human traffickers’ in the Mediterranean

A leading British charity has been accused of being in the pockets of human traffickers after a video emerged allegedly showing rescuers colluding with smugglers.

The footage shot off the coast of Libya shows a vessel full of migrants being ushered to a ship chartered by Save the Children, according to an Italian TV network.

Both the charity workers and the people smugglers appear to be working together in the Mediterranean Sea to get refugees to shore, but a Save the Children spokesman told MailOnline the charity denied communicating with traffickers.
