Official sacked after Yoda image appears in Saudi textbook

DUBAI (Reuters) – Saudi authorities fired a senior education official and other supervisors after a school textbook was found that included a photo-shopped image of the late King Faisal seated next to “Star Wars” movie character Yoda, Saudi media reported on Tuesday.

        Now if I were an authoritarian dictator I would tolerate a bit of good-humored criticism at my expense.
        It humanizes me while giving the impression to outsiders that I’m not REALLY the monster my political rivals claim I was, while they were still alive.
        It allows people to blow off some steam, but more importantly an astute leader can use that are a list of suggested improvements, some of which could be useful.
