NFL fans BURN their merchandise in disgust over anthem protests

Dozens of upset NFL fans are boycotting their teams and burning their expensive memorabilia in response to players choosing to sit or kneel during the national anthem on Sunday.

More than 200 players in the league knelt or sat down during the national anthem following President Donald Trump’s controversial comments about the NFL where he called for players who protested to be fired.

Pittsburgh Steelers fans are even more upset with the team after all of the players except for one stayed inside the locker room during the singing of the Star-Spangled Banner.

I’m not sure that fans staying home will actually do anything. The league president is a political hack. Until he is replaced the teams will loose money and he won’t care. He’ll sink the league for his political point.

For some reason — perhaps it’s the social circles that executives run in –many businesses assume that their customers are politically progressive. It’s only when they implement a controversial policy and their customers deliver a hefty backlash do they realize this isn’t so.

    • Watchman

The progressives tend to be more vocal agitators and make more threats. Conservatives just say to themselves, “Well, that will be the last time I ever shop there or pay to watch that”, so it only shows in dropping clientele numbers.

The Left continues to divide the nation. Just remember folks, the Left never takes a day off, everything is political, and they feel that they are oh so superior to everyone. Some day soon reality is going to be one hell of a bitch.

That shit-eating coward of a commissioner doesn’t even have the balls to enforce his own league’s rules on his players. From the NFL Game Operations Manual:

“The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, holding their helmets in their left hands, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to the players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country.
Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, including fines, suspensions and/or the forfeiture of draft choices for violations of the above, including first offences”

Commissioner, coaches, players. Rotten from top to bottom.

The commissioner made labor peace a higher priority than consumer satisfaction.. Now, he will have to live with his choice.
