The Worldwide War Against Christianity

The issue of religious liberty has been at the forefront of American discourse for some years, reaching new and troubling heights of intensity during the last administration. The most obvious examples are the Affordable Healthcare Act and its mandates and threats to conscience, and the assault on small Christian business owners who have been lambasted, and their livelihoods threatened because they refuse to deny their faith and beliefs, and acquiesce to the demands of the radical LGBTQ agenda and its supporters in the democrat party, the media, entertainment and business communities.

To read that things are so bad for Christians in Australia came as a rather unpleasant and disturbing surprise to me. It truly is not unreasonable to think that adherence to Christianity will become illegal in the West in the coming decades.

It doesn’t help that both the Vatican and mainline Protestants kowtow to political correctness instead of embracing the Bible.

That is certainly true. Christians have no true support unless they stick to the Word of God. Once we head into social activism rather than scripture, we’re no longer really a churchor Christians. As the Bible says, we are to follow what we have been taught in the Scriptures and nothing else. To do otherwise is to ignore the truth. Although I guess, that’s the way society views things these days.
