Snowflakeism Strikes Cornell University

Trigger warning: “Build a wall.”

Those three words have ignited a firestorm at Cornell University. An apology has been demanded, several issued, and demanded yet again. Sanctions have been sought. The administration even issued a condemnation, claiming the words were part of “a continued pattern of the marginalization of many members of the Cornell community.” Vice President for Student and Campus Life Ryan Lombardi put it this way: “I strongly condemn behavior that is antithetical to our proud history of inclusion.”

Cornell, the gift that keeps on giving.

Don’t forget they hired Cynthia McKinney, the former Georgia member of congress who, when she lost her seat called to ‘kill those fucking Jews who stole my seat!’. A bit of background here – she stood on the steps of congress for a long rally and photo-op with an Indian Muslim terrorist organization that has committed terrorist acts against Hindus in India. The Indian lobbying group, USINPAC ramped up an effort against her to throw her out of office. The “Jews’ had nothing to do with it apart from the fact that she’s an out and out vocal Jew hater in the model of Nation of Islam.

    That’s Cornell.

But I think you’re missing the point here. The point isn’t ‘oops we criticized the wrong person’. Not at all. They are 100% aware of what they did and they are 100% serious about it. It’s not about ‘hate speech’, it’s about power. The left wants and needs absolute power. Without total power, the left slowly falls apart. Followers drift away. It can’t survive w/o totalitarianism. So they have to enforce these rules to the utmost. It doesn’t matter who they’re attacking. In a way it’s more important to keep the most faithful in line the hardest. Dissention in the ranks cannot be tolerated.
