Well I guess it’s a 2nd term for for PM Useful Idiot after all.

Oh ffs! can we recall this pussy already?

As it sits now, Papa Trudeau wins even if his boy loses.
Its a big loop, an endless Ground Hog Day where Papa gets chance after chance to reshape Canada in Cuba’s likeness. A book of laws were opened by Papa and the Lawyers that were incubated in that warm bowl of piss and puss are now at full maturity.
So, who’s going to drain OUR swamp?
But as for the sexist “climate Barbie.” comment, first thing that came to mind was the MP was using a bit of a pun to indirectly link the minister of environment to “Klaus” Barbie” or AKA a Climate Nazi.
Didn’t work out too well for him, but I got it…..

At this point, we appear beyond redemption for our Original Sin of June 25, 1968. Silly, envious sheeples, we chose evil wrapped in what we considered glamour and sophistication at the time. It has been a slow ride down that slippery slope. Until now.
You are s.o right. The reshaping of Canada continues with the even more evil spawn of that evil, evil man. At the very least we are condemned to wander in the wilderness for the next 40 year or so (if we survive– there are no guarantees.
There is no saviour and Wiarton Willie is dead (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/london/london-ontario-wiarton-willie-dead-1.4298706)

      • Cat-astrophe

        Yes, Wiarton Willie has passed.
He was the last symbol male authority this country had.
Now all that is behind us and what are we left with? Another self proclaimed male feminist in the halls of power.
Some one please explain what the hell that even means??

    • andycanuck

She’s been called “climate Barbie” on her Twitter account since she began saying stupid things after making Cabinet like for lying about riding her bike to work every day, getting reamed by lib-leftist Bill Maher on his show etc. so that’s the context for the comment as well.

  • shasta

I believe I have already said that Scheer is a wuss. He demonstrates it almost every day. The only one needing an apology in this kerfuffle is Barbie for the insult of having her fine plastic brain compared to empty headed Catherine McKenna.

  • Editor

Thus siding with and validating the whole “words are violence-I’m offended” leftist snowflake nonsense. Way to go Andy!

  • FivePointSpurgeonist

Did you actually think otherwise? Scheer couldn’t beat Trudeau playing on a Playstation let alone an election.

  • Old Guy

By succumbing to the same standards of political correctness and virtue signalling as the Leader of the Liberal Party, Justin Trudeau, The Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition has shown himself to be unworthy of support.

If this is the type of response we can expect from Andrew Scheer to what was a humorous political jab at a Minister of the Crown then there is no chance that the Conservatives will win the next election.

Further, how can any Canadian expect this leader or his party to ever be able to defend the threat coming from the Heritage Committee to sanction Canadians free speech rights to criticize Islam if he cannot even defend one of his own member’s humorous political jabs at a member of the governing party?

    • Tooth&Claw

Can you tweet your last paragraph to Scheer? I don’t use twitter but I think he needs to be made aware of this connection. Twitter is likely the best way to get his attention.
Climate Barbie earned the nickname. She’s thin, blond and not intelligent when it comes to climate, because it’s not her area of expertise or training.

      • Alain

        That is an excellent suggestion.

      • Old Guy

I don’t use Twitter or Facebook.

If someone wants to copy and paste the last part of my comment to Twitter or Facebook that’s OK with me.

        • Tooth&Claw

Anyone got an account? I emailed Scheer about these ‘refugees’ and crossing the U.S border. I got boilerplate back.

    • Maggat

If that was a test he failed, miserably.

  • ontario john

Are there any real men in Canadian politics? What a bunch of pansies.

    • Cat-astrophe

If we want someone with real balls in the PM seat, it will have to be a woman. As of now, being a real man is no longer acceptable for any male in power.

Thats why I supported Kellie Leitch. for conservative leader. That and she was born and raised NO WHERE NEAR Quebec or Ottawa….

      • Alain

I voted for her as first choice, but sad to say chose Scheer as second choice.

        • Cat-astrophe

          Me too.
Can’t feel bad about it now though. There was a LOT of chaff in the bunch, and Scheer may well have been the next best choice.
That is what is so sad about it all.

      • Maggat

        And I, both counts.

    • Jabberwokk

Well real men have kind of been forced out no?

      • Maggat

        YES!

  • moraywatson

Mr. Scheer, you do not have the right stuff. Please resign for the good of the country.

  • BillyHW

As long as women vote you will only have faggots for leaders.

  • Jabberwokk

    Told you.

His need to be liked and not offend anyone is a character flaw that will be quickly identified and exploited. Never trust a man who runs away from his own strength.

Edit: I’m fairly sure were headed to a liberal minority government.

  • ntt1

He lost me after glowingly supporting the paris climate accord scammers. I find I am repelled by his manic or idiotic grin he wears all the time.
I suspect he is a good candidate for the progressives I.E a gay rodeo clown.

  • What a wiener.

    He is just disappointing.

    • Maggat

Scheer? What can we expect, he’s barely past puberty and lets face it, his and following generations are seemingly unable to LEAD! Pander only.

  • Oracle9

OK, so free speech in 2017 is different from free speech in previous decades. That means free speech with caveats, which is NOT free speech at all.

Now, which governing body of censors will judge what is edgy and what is acceptable, considering this “offensive, politically charged” tweet may have had a tinge of sarcasm but nothing more? And why can we not use politically-charged rhetoric?

What is the line now across which we must not cross?

What a friggin’ farce this country is becoming.

  • Maggat

“Climate Barbie” most appropriate, however he forgot to finish with “Doll”. Another stupid tempest in a teapot, one would expect these fools elected to LEAD us would make that their priority, instead of the useless blather that they spew fore daily.

  • Tooth&Claw

Sucks when you try to pick the best out of the bunch with limited information, and get another beta male. Scheer did show a gratifying amount of spirit over the tax proposals though. Let’s hope he grows in boldness, as he is young. This whole Climate Barbie kerfuffle is disappointing and required no comment or outrage. She earned the moniker.

  • DMB

Let’s face it Zoolander has way better hair than climate barbie! 😀

  • Felix_Culpa

Yes, it’s wussy of him to apologize.

But back up one step and it was wussy of her to be offended in the first place–seriously, “climate barbie” is not much of an insult!

And back up two steps: Twitter is a bane on society because all you can do in 140 characters is lob insults back and forth. It’s not a forum conducive to real discourse. Why the hell does anyone use it anyway? Not me. Get politicians off Twitter. Get everyone off Twitter!

Two University profs, in two separate conversations, have said to me that they can’t get students to actually read books. Articles, yes. But not whole books. They can assign them, but no one in the class reads them. Seems no one has the attention span for that anymore.

This whole spat is a symptom of a much deeper problem.
