Trudeau’s strange ideas about small business

Where on earth does Prime Minister Justin Trudeau get his information about small businesses from?

When he first raised the issue of proposed Liberal tax reforms for small businesses during the 2015 federal election, he told the CBC’s Peter Mansbridge on Sept. 8 that: “We have to know that a large percentage of small businesses are actually just ways for wealthier Canadians to save on their taxes and we want to reward the people who are actually creating jobs, and contributing in concrete ways.”

Today at the UN his main topic will be the most important issue on the minds of all Canadians, whiny indians. Although he will also be talking about gender equity and the benefits of globalization.

He has never had to do the daily grind of a business with the possibility of financial failure (that is the key part). Getting 20K for a speaking engagement because your daddy was famous is not a business. Churchill put it this way – if you want me to speak for an hour, I am ready now, if you want me to speak for only 5 minutes, give me a couple of weeks. Drama king Trudeau never had to give a precise answer in his life where his future earnings were on the line, and when he opens his mouth in the House of Commons, it shows. And even if he fails, his family will not be destitute, unable to pay their mortgage, feed or clothe themselves. He does not understand starting a small business, and maintaining it for 25 years. He hasn’t done anything of value for 25 years.

Good points. What small business owners need is less burdensome regulations from both the feds and provinces and simpler tax legislation

If this is about taxation and not stealing land from farmers, bringing multinational corporation into health care system and killing start-ups.
I never subscribed to any globalist conspiracy theory, but I think for super-rich leeching Canada existing cartels are not enough or they are sensing the end of them in banking, telecomunication, so they move to the next profitable area.

    • Trudeau is the same to small business as a tapeworm is to an an asshole.

He will be happy to suck the life out of it.

Barely educated moron who never worked hard in his life viciously attacks those who push hard through. It is personal.

What a scoop. I was able to get footage of Turdo’s speech at the UN:

Prime Minister Trudeau needs to tax everybody in Canada more for his projects to fight Global Warming to prevent the destruction of the Third World.

That and buying his Nobel Peace prize.

He is just a sock puppet. This isn’t his idea, it’s someone or some group’s idea & he is just the messenger. I’m pretty sure it isn’t even Morneau’s idea, but since he is the financial guy, his dept is handling the mechanics of this. Probably folks in the CRA are responsible for it all, as they have all the info on just about every taxpayer in this country, business or personal. Some civil servant wags have the ear of this .gov on burning issues that they want rectified to ensure that enough taxes are paid for their 3.5% annual raise & taxpayer-funded pensions.

It’s just so trite. If you talk to banks on loans they reveal themselves as having preconceived ideas of what business should do, apart from what they will do to suit their own particular circumstances, as “everybody does it the .gov way”. Their mind set doesn’t allow for any other way to do business. Their counterparts in .gov at the CRA think the same way.

The middle class which includes small businesses is one of the first targets for elimination under communism. That leaves only the poor dependent on the state who can offer no opposition and the elite who run the country.

That’s how I look at it too.

“We have to know a large percentage of small businesses are actually just ways for wealthier Canadians to save on their taxes…” He’s talking about the only small businesses he knows – those of himself and his wealthy buds. The man hasn’t yet met a REAL small business owner.

Oh yes he has. Pollsters. .Gov “contractors” who follow the Income Tax Act rules just like other professionals & small businessmen/women. He meets them whenever he visits a Depanneur for chips & a smoothie.

None of these tweaks to the Act are gonna affect any of the folks that he seems to have an issue with, like his pal Morneau et al. It’s like closing the barn door after everybody who is anybody in this country has already set up their offshore corps & trust funds.

Needs to raise more money, because CRA has given up on trying to hunt down & squeeze those who are offshore, with any new tax wrinkles. The Middle Class is next in line to be sheared like a sheep. Stalin just starved the Kulaks, if he didn’t have them rounded up, shot or exported to Siberia. Mao had the Red Guards do the same. Hmmm, wonder if that’s the plan since he has such an admiration of the Chinese Communists. Might have to invest in a bok choy hoe & join the hordes of city folks in the fields, since tractors can’t be wind driven.

Trudeau visits a Depanneur? That’s security’s job. Anyway, should he actually visit, he probably assumes its just part of a chain of Depanneurs, and the person serving him is an employee.

I hope everyone watched little Justin’s speech to the UN. He explained to the world that Canada’s past was filled with racist bastards, and that he is the one who will make everything better. And he let the assembly know that Canadians are fed up with whiny indians not getting enough free stuff. Of course the CBC after the speech had big chief Pam Palmeter of Ryerson University on, who ranted that we are still all racist bastards and lots of money needed to given to tribes. I didn’t see what choice of socks little Justin had on today.

As a former small business owner in Ontario I can tell you that this new tax ‘fairness’ plan from Justin and his diverse merry band in Ottawa is the final nail in the coffin of small business in this province. The feds will be crowing about all the new jobs created at RevCan to investigate and prosecute these horrible 1%ers meanwhile the vacant stores and offices, heavily increased welfare rolls and food bank lines will get glossed over by the complicit media. My advice to any small business owner in Ontario, GET OUT NOW while you still have the opportunity.
