“There is absolutely no place on Facebook for hate speech or content that promotes violence or terrorism,” Senior Vice-President for Global Marketing Solutions Carolyn Everson said, announcing the decision.

    Time for Facebook to go.

Hence, there is no place for Islam on Facebook.

I’ve had 3 temporary bans in 2 months for mocking Bruce Jenner and trannies (24hrs & 72hrs) and Islam (7 days). Now, I admit the comment I made regarding Islam was a tad ‘aggressive’ (I did say Muslims need to be ‘driven into the sea’), however, a feminist FB page I stumbled across last year, a page that openly promoted violence against men, did not ‘violate our terms of use policies’ when I reported it.

    Funny, huh???

      No, just SOP.

The fine art of satire needs to make a reappearance. Not The Onion, that’s for those that can barely read, but good Swiftian satire. No amount of hate speech desk jockeys will ever manage that.

Facebook the opiate of the masses

Farcebook could hire a million more thought police and it wouldn’t change the fact that their enforcement of their own rules is glaringly arbitrary and unfair. They favour certain people or groups over others. They punish people for wrongthink while refusing to give those people an avenue of appeal, apology or other means to defend themselves.

I was viciously harassed with humiliating and threatening posts on my wall, including death threats and being told they knew my address (they did). Facebook ignored my complaints, even though the cops took them seriously. The cops found and arrested one person but several others continued to post on my wall. More than a month later I received a message from Farcebook’s “support” team informing me that Facebook didn’t consider the threats to be a violation of their code of conduct. I ended up being forced to delete my profile to put a stop to the harassment.

I created a new profile, but this time restricted my activity to posting comments about news articles. Then this past week I responded to a comment by a black woman, who claimed that employers should hire her on a preferential basis solely due to her skin colour. I replied telling her that’s not the way it works and that if she wants a job she needs to be qualified for it, by going to school and working to gain experience like anyone else. I did not swear, nor did I insult her personally in any way. I posted my reply about 9 pm. When I logged in to my computer at 9 am the next day, I had already been kicked out of Facebook with a message stating I’d “bullied” this woman and was now banned for 24 hours. That “24 hour” ban stretched out to a week with no notice or explanation.

I’m already tapering off using Facebook and have switched to Minds and GAB. Everyone needs to get off of the Zuckerman garbage scow and stop supporting his little empire of thought police, terrorist facilitation, propaganda and disinformation.

This is why it is important when posting opinions on contraversal subjects never provide any personal information about your self. Always post using an alias. Facebook is nothing more than a personal data mining tool masquerading as a social media platform.

I used to have a Facebook account – it was under a fake name and I used it to view and comment on other Facebook accounts. My FB account was suspended twice for my criticism of Islam – each time FB requested more and more personal information to reinstate the FB account – e.g. a copy of my birth certificate and home phone number – I gave up on FB many month’s ago and do not miss it – I do not understand why ANYONE with half a brain would have a REAL FB account sharing details of their personal life to the world. Hopefully people will wake the hell up and cancel their FB accounts so it will end up like Myspace – I would love to see many Billions shaved off of Mark Zukerbergs net worth

Facebook! What a waste of time and space. When you don’t like being told when you are an asshole. GET A LIFE.

That’s why I never subscribed to Facebook or Twitter/

A group of us got a taste of that years ago when Market Watch allowed aliases…

Hundreds of us that disagreed with the writer or general consensus were supposedly in violation of some rule and booted off the site only to return with a different alias and same Icon till that was banned as well.

We finally started our own private chat room on WordPress when Market Watch began requiring “Real Names” if they allowed comments at all to the article…
