Communities Cancel Australia Day Celebrations Because It’s ‘Like Celebrating The Nazi Holocaust’

Australia Day is celebrated Jan. 26 every year to mark the anniversary of Britain’s First Fleet’s arrival in 1788. The Moreland City Council in Melbourne voted Wednesday to remove all references of the date as Australia Day. One councilor called the ceremonies “grossly offensive” while another compared it to Germany celebrating its Nazi past.

If the very existence of Australia is so offensive to these clowns, why are they still there? In nice cushy jobs taking Aussie taxpayers’ SSS?

Whomever said such an offensive statement should be removed from office asap. This is getting out of hand – but of course, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the wonders of marxism – except for the body count that is almost 20 times that of the nazis – but hell, facts hurt feelings and we cannot have that!

Wish we thought of this instead of letting Trudeau waste millions screwing up our 150th.

So its something like Canada’s anniversary, which has turned into a year long apology by feminist Trudeau, to every special interest group in the country. And if your white and your ancestors came from Britain, you are a genocidal Nazi white settler.

Proof that city dwellers in Australia are just as stupid as city dwellers everywhere else, electing asshats like these.

The bigger the city the more removed from nature (understand reality) and therefore the more unhinged is something I figured out a good time ago. When cities were smaller and everyone knew someone or even had family members still involved in agriculture they had what was called common sense or a good grasp of reality. Also a good number of those city dwellers enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoor activities, which again kept them grounded in reality. Today it is the complete opposite with few if any urbanites having a clue about where their food comes from and what is involved in producing it, just as they are with all their modern conveniences dependent on natural resources. This is applicable throughout the West and will be the same in non Western countries once they reach the same level of development.

The Melbourne district has 26 cities and 5 shires composing it so I’m guessing Moreland City is either a Berkeley or an Aborigine area amongst all those “suburbs”. And all over the (English-speaking) world municipal politicians are often more leftist because voter turnout etc. is pretty low so commies get elected more often.

  • I’m not seeing how. Almost a million Australians fought against the Axis powers during the Second World War.

This must be a whole bunch of hyperbolic tripe by some self-loathing pu$$ies who incorrectly equate things they don’t like with an evil they actually emulate.

    Moving on …
