Teacher Fired After Comparing High School Students To Nazis For Wearing MAGA Shirts

A high school math teacher in Georgia has been fired after comparing students who wear clothing emblazoned with President Trump’s motto “Make America Great Again” with Nazis wearing swastikas.

Lyn Orletsky, a math teacher at River Ridge High School in Cherokee County, was caught on tape last week kicking students out of class for wearing MAGA shirts.

“Just like you cannot wear a swastika to school, you cannot wear Make America Great Again like that,” she said in the video.

    Good, the tide is turning.

Indeed – I would have expected her to be promoted, not FIRED!

How many times do I have to say it before people will listen?

Never put a woman in charge of your child’s education.

I hesitate on her getting fired for this. As much as it was ridiculous and she should be disciplined, i worry the precedent these incidents set and when the tide turns back or in other locations what will trigger right-wing teachers (as few as there are) getting fired.

    • Right wing are ALREADY not allowed to teach.
Over 80% of college professors are rabid leftists and the conservatives need to hide their views.
The leftists set the precedent. This is called them getting a taste of their own medicine.

I get the idea, but just like the very rare occasion when a black person or muslim is charged with a hate crime, I hesitate to celebrate it as it legitimizes the whole concept.

Scorched earth policy … most ‘teachers’ are left wingers that abuse their authority and force pc group think on children and young people by way of coercion, threats, passive aggressive behaviour, shunning, biased marks, etc… that includes undiversities.

Well we don’t know what other disciplinary actions she may have already been through, or how many other complaints may have been made. I suspect this wasn’t the first.

    Good.
