Dianne Feinstein and the Anti-Catholic Bigots

It came out, thanks to the WikiLeaks disclosures during the 2016 campaign, that Hillary Clinton’s aides were trading nasty notes about Catholics, calling them “severely backwards.” The Dems had long been the party of anti-Catholic bigotry and the exposed emails only confirmed that reputation.

American bishops appointed by Pope Francis didn’t make a peep about Hillary’s anti-Catholic bigotry for the simple reason that they share it. They, too, see believing Catholics as “severely backwards.” Many of the Francis-appointed bishops, such as Chicago’s Blasé Cupich, were in the tank for Hillary. Patrick McGrath, the bishop of San Jose, California, used propaganda from the Hillary campaign as his crib notes, penning a ludicrous column to parishioners in which he said that Donald Trump “borders on the seditious.”

So the only Catholics who aren’t “severely backwards” are faggots who adore Hillary, taxpayer-funded partial-birth abortions and illegal Mexicans. How did it come to this?

    • It’s been a long time coming.

The cancer of “progressivism” and “Political Correctness”. The end stage appears to be a very unhealthy obsession with intersectionality and embracing groups that only make up a very small minority at the expense of more mainstream groups, and forcing said support from the mainstream crowd with threats of defamation and shaming.

The behavior of the PC crowd is now resembling that of 1980s evangelicals (IE Jack Chick) and their panic over satanism being tied in with music and common fads. It burned up any credibility that they had, and left them looking like complete clowns.

Until the death of Antonin Scalia, the Supreme Court had six Catholic justices, three Jews and no Protestants. Apparently, Reagan and the Bushes were appointing Catholics to the court because they felt that Evangelical Protestants lacked the intellectual heft to fill the black robes.

So the Democrats have a Tony-Alamo-grade hatred of Roman Catholicism?

    The irony is delicious…

I shall never ever understand why not only the majority of Catholics but also Jews, black and other minorities insist on voting Democrat. It is the same disconnect with the same groups in Canada who consistently vote Liberal.
