Tax fairness? The Liberal small biz tax changes are the total opposite

Funny, isn’t it, how Liberal politicians tout small businesspeople as the bedrocks of our neighbourhoods, our communities and our nation when they are seeking their votes. But once they are elected – and ravenous for more revenue to finance their Big Government dreams – the Libs started portraying these same entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, farmers, fishermen and professionals as greedy tax cheats who were robbing the middle-class.

The other day you should have seen the comments on Cbc from they don’t pay taxes to they make billions and I asked name one small business that makes billions no one could answer.

All of the decisions made by the Liberal party when they are in power are for one purpose only, to get rid of the small business owner and to pave the way for mega corporations to control all of our economy. The changes made to the rules governing school bus companies are a perfect example. STC now controls all of the bus routes in my school district and all of the small companies that used to service the area can no longer meet the requirements and McGuinty and Wynne put in place.

        You’re being totally unrealistic.

Give me the name of one small company donates to the Trudeau Foundation. See! It’s their own fault!

      • Correction: to pave the way for Aga Khan and the Chinese to control our economy.

The CBC’s target audience are all idiots

    • Because that would involve being aware of how things really are.

Let us remember that shareholders in an incorporated company are not allowed to receive benefits unless they have contributed in some other form as employees. I have worked within my own company for 30 years, and I do not draw a salary as I am only a shareholder and not an employee. I get paid out of dividends from the company. So yes, this particular change in law does not recognize my contribution to the creation and continued existence of the company. The only pension that I have is what I have contributed myself, unlike the overpaid public servants that I support, including Morneau, and Trudeau. Neither of these people have ever created anything, they both inherited, and Trudeau is the worst sort because he is 3rd generation wealth (1st starts the company, 2nd builds the company, and 3rd destroys a company) and he isn’t particularly bright.

Pierre Elliot did nothing to build the company. His accomplishment was to let the financial people run things that he knew nothing of.

Bill Morneau has to help the poor himself , family and friends to fund Bombardier.

    • Liberal Progressive

But Bill Morneau is a business expert proven by the successful company he inherited from his father!

        Expert on using tax heavens.

Meanwhile the National Post is reporting that Turdeau’s federal carbon tax scam will shrink the Canadian economy by three billion dollars in 2018. Not that voters will care. They are too busy enthralled by how cool he is.

When does this fool state, “You didn’t build that”? After all he’s incapable of any original thoughts…….

First you get rid of kulaks , then you collectivize.

“Level the field,” they say. I own and operate a small business. Very busy in the summer. Work seven days a week. Hard to get good staff. Take care of my own pension, accident insurance. No dental plan. Should have become a civil servant.
Trudeau has absolutely no conception of reality when it comes to the middle class that he purports to want to help. Get a real job and face some realities.

Bill Morneau can protect his family’s wealth with shell companies, but you, you rancher, you farmer don’t you dare think you’ll be able to pass the farm down to your family.
