Three Cheers for Toxic Masculinity

Houston wouldn’t be surviving without it.

From Harvey-flooded Houston to the Hamptons, what the feminists call “toxic masculinity” is helping make America great again.

As soon as the high winds abated, while the rains were still deepening the flood waters, dozens and then hundreds of them came, unbidden, to rescue their fellow Texans. Then more arrived from the “Cajun navy.”

We’ve all seen the pictures of them. Men, many in camo hunting gear, driving their 18- or 20-foot boats propelled by outboard motors to rescue people from the homes flooded by the storm.

  • Three cheers for those dogs! 🙂

  • Alleena

I noticed this a few days. All or almost all of the rescuers were men. Sadly, the foolish feminists will still trash them and enjoy the world that was mostly created by men.

    • Alain

I haven’t noticed any metrosexual rescuers either. Just saying.

      • The Antifa Nancy boys in their skinny black jeans and hoodies never showed up to help either. Just as well- not much call for sucker punching old ladies down there…

        • Observer

I suspect Antifa have been busy breaking into the vacant houses to “liberate” the possessions. Thugs will be thugs.

    • Alain

I should also mention that those male rescuers appear to be only white. Now, I wonder why that is.

    • Maggat

Good comment but, you could have dropped “mostly” .

  • moraywatson

And nary a complaint about ‘manspreading’ or ‘mansplaining’. Hmmm…

    • Alain

Gave an up vote even though I am not familiar with those terms. No matter since they can only be negative.

      • Linda1000

Those are Trannah terms (Toronto), the metrosexual capital of Canada.

        • Observer

Be nice girl. We don’t like thilly people thaying thilly tings. Though all we men lisp in Tranna. 🙂

        • Justin St.Denis

Trannah “men” are too busy sashaying down streets, swishing their gynecoidal hips and over-large bums to the left, then the right, in the process. Most bear a disturbing resemblance to Mae West if observed from behind. Research has been undertaken to discover why Trannah men have become overwhelmingly pear-shaped. That used to be a woman’s problem. Mae West made a career of it. Nobody yet understands what evolutionary perversion has its grip on Trannah’s formerly masculine population. One way or another, Trannah’s butch lesbian community appears to be unaffected by whatever has its grip on the male segment of the population.

  • Tooth&Claw

Damn straight. Love those guys that are willing to put themselves in harm’s way to aid others.

  • mobuyus

Toxic masculinity has been putting food on my table for years.

    • Alain

Along with giving up their lives to protect the very freedom that these people use to spew their vile hatred.

      • Justin St.Denis

Yeah, there IS that, isn’t there? 😉

    • Justin St.Denis

We just learned what our local “super Dad” does for a living. For years, we’ve been admiring this guy’s dedication to his kids. He never stops. If he’s not mowing lawn or cleaning gutters, he’s assembling a kids’ pool or an enclosed trampoline – stopping every time one of his kids wants attention, to play, chat, show a new bug they just caught etc. Just a super-nice guy, great neighbour and clearly fantastic family man. A few weeks ago, my wife learned from his wife what the guy does for a living….

You know those tall steel-and-glass towers and skyscrapers that we all loathe and which dot every metropolitan landscape? Well, after the steel framing is up, somebody has to install all those glass panels, right?

My wife showed me some pictures he took “on the job” on her smartphone. They made me want to pee…….

Toxic masculinity DEFINITELY PLAYS AN ESSENTIAL ROLE in keeping the world going………

      • mobuyus

I worked building the Nuclear Medicine clinic at the General Hospital campus. Sheets of drywall with lead laminated to them weighing 300 400 lbs were not going on the walls and ceilings with new age leftist mumbo-jumbo. Toxic masculinity has given us our well earned comforts and this really sticks in the craw of the left with their man buns and girly men and golden boys unicorns and gender fluidity. Someday they will be made to pay for their perfidy.

  • Linda1000

American exceptionalism. Something Canadians don’t know about or understand. Ozero didn’t believe in it and Justine doesn’t have a clue about it. Trump knows and that’s why he’s all for MAGA.

    • Tooth&Claw

Don’t tar all Canadians with the same brush. Some of us do know.

      • Dave

Too bad there’s not enough to make a difference.

        • Linda1000

That’s what I was going to say.

        • Petrilia

Are you kidding? These guys have saved thousands of lives. Have you seen one of their monster trucks pulling out an army truck on utube?

    • Minicapt

Bullshit; if you knew what you were talking about, you would not have said that. You’re one of those who don’t want to acknowledge what Canadians have done and can do. Go back to reading the Toronto Star, or contemplate the Ice Storm of 1998.

      Cheers

      • Alain

May I suggest that that period was prior to importing socialism to Canada and long before the present collectivism we now live under. Any Canadian who would dare to be an entrepreneur or to invent or improve something in existence would be tarred and feathered.

        • Justin St.Denis

“Any Canadian who would dare to be an entrepreneur or to invent or improve something in existence would be tarred and feathered.”

          “Would be tarred and feathered”?

They already are, historically always have been, and likely always will.

I wish it was different, but one cannot argue with documented history.

        • Minicapt

Not necessarily, where was the Ebola virus vaccine developed?

          Cheers

      • Linda1000

Oh, you sound so anti-American which is a typical current sentiment of Canadians who have managed to f**k up what could have been a great country (tale a look at fed. politicians). Our biggest accomplishment to date must be Quebec. Too bad we didn’t keep our guns because then some of us would have had a fighting chance. Of course, in a major catastrophe happens, the same Cdns. will be crying to the U.S. for help (like if Putin decides to take over the Arctic or N. Korea sends a little test EMP bump to Canuckistan).

        • Minicapt

You are really very misinformed, and unable to understand that. And you have no historical sense, nor an appreciation of Canadian history/accomplishment/etc. But please enjoy wallowing in your rank ignorance.

          Have a nice day.

    • Alain

Yes, it is alive and well in spite of the nay sayers. Even when it comes to agriculture, it is there. Raising meat goats and subscribing to American publications on the topic I am aware of how American breeders can take an existing breed from elsewhere and improve it. Now that is what I call American exceptionalism in my area of interest. My point is that they tend to be able to take just about anything and improve on it, whereas on the whole that concept is absent here.

      • Linda1000

Israelis are similar in spite of the hostile territory surrounding them. The U.S. has many problems but for a melting pot of 330+ million people, I don’t think there has been any other country quite so successful. Why else does everyone want to live there, including many Canadians. I don’t remember the U.S. or Israel ever asking any other part of the world for help with anything.

        • Justin St.Denis

Israelis are among the most creatively diverse populations I have ever experienced firsthand. We just feel like singing whenever we visit Israel. The energy and motivation of the Israeli people is almost overwhelming. It must be experienced to be fully appreciated.

    • Maggat

Linda 1000, I suspect that here is a hell of a lot of us that understand American exceptionalism and would be happy to see the same here in Canada.

      • Justin St.Denis

It’s one of the reasons I maintain my dual-citizenship status, which doesn’t come cheap, lemme tell ya!

    • Justin St.Denis

Canadians generally know and understand very little about the USA. Oddly, they seem to know much, much more about the USA than they do about Canada. This is a Canadian problem that I have never heard addressed – or even acknowledged – in a public forum.

American Exceptionalism is very real. That’s a fact.

Canadian Envy has many hues and shades. That’s a fact, too.

  • robins111

I’d pay money to see one of those rancid feminists wander into a spot where those rednecks are getting a sleep in wet clothes and start lecturing them about toxic masculinity.

  • Dana Garcia

There were a lot of white guys doing much of the rescuing, even in diverse Texas.

  • Maggat

I’m kinda glad that I’m a farting. beer drinking, rancid old man. Beats, all to hell, the ponces the lefties appear to worship.

    • Justin St.Denis

And I suspect the ponces fart, too.
