  • Well I left out another solution: capitulate and allow reunification.

With the north in charge, of course. North Korea is best Korea!

    • WalterBannon

why ruin south Korea, like east Germany and merkel ruined west germany???

    • David Murrell

You could apply for a high-level job at Justin’s Foreign Affairs Canada.
      /Sarc off.

    • Can North Korea be reunited with South Korea or will it remain North Korea but democratic?

      Discuss.

  • If words are violence then why isn’t a threat an act of war?

  • marty_p

You can be damn well sure Iran is watching how the world is reacting in preparation for the inevitable North Korea assisted Iranian Nuclear test

  • Wally Keeler

Make a deal with China. We will reimburse all their losses if they ZERO-trade with NK. Make it a five year contract subject to extension. Cheaper than fire and fury.

    • WalterBannon

why should we reward china for reigning in their own Frankenstein monster?

use the economic stick and make them fix their own mess or loose access to our markets, plus threaten to wipe all US govt bond debt held by china off the books

      • Wally Keeler

our economic stick is not as big and strong to make China do anything. Your suggestion is exceedingly expensive compared to mine, and far more self-destructive..

        • WalterBannon

          hyperbole

The largest single holder of U.S. government debt is China, with 21% of all foreign-held U.S. Treasury securities (and 10% of total U.S. public debt). That is a pretty big stick to threaten to “nationalize” in the same way that communist countries have “nationalized” foreign assets by seizing things they covet and refusing to honor the foreign ownership of that asset.

And that is without even getting into the threat of tariffs.

think outside the box sometime. you might get want you want

your solution is a guaranteed failed solution

          • Wally Keeler

Your way is more unlikely, more expensive, more damaging consequences. Lose lose. Reimburse China for its loss, cheaper. We have extraordinary wealth. Never read the globalist book — probably mediocre as your fabulous strategy.

    • No deal.

      Nuke Beijing.

      • Wally Keeler

That’s smart. Ignite a major exchange of nukes amongst China, Russia, America. It’ll do the world good. LOL.

  • ismiselemeas

    Learn Kowean, qurickry!

    • Korean is not as hard as you think.

They have their own alphabet. Their syntax generally goes subject + verb and South Koreans just incorporate Western expressions in with everything else.

  • Liberal Progressive

North Korea signed an agreement with President Bill Clinton that they would never produce nuclear weapons so you know they haven’t and there is nothing at all to concern the world.

It’s much ado about nothing so South Korea and Japan have absolutely nothing to worry about. Besides they are Communists so they must be friendly people!

  • Bataviawillem

Graphite bomb them into the dark ages till the army turns on that whack job.

    • DaninVan

Well so far ‘hot air’ bombing them has had zero effect…
(From the survey pretty much everyone agrees that talking to Fat Boy is useless. )

      • Bataviawillem

Never mentioned “hot air” never mentioned “talk”
With graphite the complete hydro grid gets effectively disabled, and after a 1/2 a year or longer, somebody from within will fix it.

  • bargogx1

All of the above, and then some.

  • Hard Little Machine

    Pneumonic Plague

    • I will have to remember that for next time! šŸ˜‰
