Walter Becker, rock bohemian of Steely Dan, dead at 67

Walter Becker, a bassist whose eclectic tastes from jazz to reggae helped create the intricate bohemian rock sound of Steely Dan, died Sunday. He was 67.

His death was announced in a brief notice on his official website, with no further details released.

        I love story of that. They auditioned some of the best people in the business for just that lick. They made them work it over and over until they settled on Randall.

            Their reunion tour was 17 hr practices 7 days a week for a month. You can hear it. Dead on tight
