North Korea claims it successfully tested a hydrogen bomb

North Korea’s state media claims that the country has successfully tested a hydrogen bomb meant to fit on an intercontinental ballistic missile.

A state media newsreader said the “two-stage thermonuclear weapon” had “unprecedented” strength.

Kim Jong Un personally signed off on the nuclear test, Pyongyang’s state media said.

  • If Tubby is a madman then there’s no reasoning with him. Terminating his leadership is the only option.

If he’s sane, he thinks there is something to be gained by provoking the US and her allies. If we don’t comply, the threats will continue. If we do comply, every time he wants something – reunification, aid packages, personal glory – new threats will appear. Terminating his leadership is the only option.

The US needs to do something to jam the guidance systems on these missiles and redirect them towards China. I am sure that would put a quick end to North Korea’s weapons programs.
