Should Anti-trust Laws Be Used To Break Up The Social Media Giants?

The secular Left and the proponents of Islamic blasphemy laws have a new issue on which they are making common cause: the quest to destroy the freedom of speech, the cornerstone of our democracy. After Charlottesville, the Left sees its chance to crush all dissent, and given its alliance with Islamic supremacists, this means the implementation in the West of prohibitions on criticism of Islam, including counterterror analysis of the motivating ideology of jihad terrorists. This anti-free speech initiative, if it succeeds, will destroy free society, which cannot exist if one is unable to speak out against the tyrant.

Al Qaeda affiliate mining uranium to send to Iran, Somali official warns US ambassador

An Al Qaeda affiliate has seized control of uranium mines in Africa with the intent of supplying the material to Iran, according to a diplomatic letter from a top Somali official appealing to the U.S. for “immediate military assistance.”

The letter, reviewed by Fox News, was addressed to U.S. Ambassador to Somalia Stephen Schwartz. Somalia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Ahmed Awad confirmed to Fox News on Thursday that the letter “has indeed been issued” by Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Garaad Omar, whose signature is on the document.

Canada preparing winter shelters as migrant wave continues

Many of the more than 7,000 migrants who crossed on foot from the US state of New York into Canada’s Quebec province since July 1 have been housed in tent cities near the border set up by the military.

Others were put up at Montreal’s Olympic stadium and other venues until better accommodations could be found.

“These tents do have heaters, but we also have a very, a very cold winter in this country,” said Transportation Minister Marc Garneau, who is also chairing an emergency task force to deal with the surge in asylum seekers.

Berkeley students plot to ‘shut down’ conservative speakers

Fed up with conservative speakers coming to their campus, students at the University of California, Berkeley are holding a meeting to discuss how to “shut down these events.”
The flyer specifically mentions an upcoming visit by Milo Yiannopoulos, but students have also reacted negatively to a separate event featuring Ben Shapiro, with one liberal student literally eating a flyer promoting Shapiro’s speech.

Justin Trudeau marks Eid al-Adha by urging Canadians to fight Islamophobia

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says now, more than ever, Canadians must stand together against racism and Islamophobia.

Trudeau made the comments in Saskatoon while delivering remarks recognizing the beginning of Eid al-Adha, a Muslim holiday.

“Whether we are in a big city or a small town, we must continue to stand together, united against racism, hatred and Islamophobia,” Trudeau told the crowd.

Not even sure why I see them as that different, but I have no desire to see the government step in and break up Facebook but would like to see it with Google. I guess because Facebook is less necessary than Google. However I could be convinced about government interventions with Facebook since they are working so closely with other governments to control/limit information on the platform.

Hey, how bout a nuclear inferno in which they all go up?

  • Brett McS

People put thousands of hours into creating YouTube videos, build up a following, start getting an income for their work and then have it just cut off because they have the ‘wrong’ opinions. To this bush lawyer, that sounds actionable already.

islamophobia is merely the innate desire to keep yourself alive and push back against a group that wants to kill you.

And now the Saturday Toronto Star. Stories are, opinion piece from Liberal Party hack that freedom of speech must be limited, because Nazis are running rampant in Canada. Heather Mallick takes a break from talking about her vagina, and rants about how Margaret Atwood, the world;s most famous author is being mistreated. The UN is demanding that Canada not place illegal invaders in detention, and must make it easier for invaders to cross the border in Quebec. Whiny indians need more money. Heart breaking full page story on muslims trying to start an islamic school in Toronto. Trump is Hitler. Harper is Hitler.

We can always count on Justin to vote whore as he celebrates another Mo holiday.
I am not holding my breath to see if the assh*ole shows up at a synagogue for Roshashanah.

Stop lecturing to us Mr. Trudeau. We have a Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Why don’t you let us apply it as we see fit.

    • Why don’t we scrap that document and bring back the Bill of Rights?

  • ontario john

Good news for invaders. Little Justin is going to provide heated trailers at the border this winter. I’m sure taxpayers won’t mind.

  • Blacksmith

Wow, that breakfast looks awesome. I need a ingredients list for that one.

Marc Garneau says we have cold winters in Canada. Thanks Captain Obvious.

I don’t think he’s a moron by any stretch, but he’s not the same person he was then. Ever since he lost the leadership race and then sold his soul (and his genitals too, seemingly) to Trudeau, he’s a shadow of his old self.

      • pike bishop

Okay, he’s not a moron. He knows our winters can be pretty cold. Just a POS careerist who puts his own narrow interests over the national best interest. Another Liberal liar and thief. Nothing new I guess.

  • Flyboy

Someone needs to ask the question – is our Prime Minister a Muslim?

    • Imam Trudeau

Yes I am! And soon to be Queen of Canukistan.

  • No, don’t winterise the tents. Leave them as they are. We don’t want anyone to get comfortable.
