FLASHBACK – Cloudflare Refused to Ban ISIS Sites: ‘It’s Not Right For Us’ to Censor, We Don’t Tolerate ‘Mob Rule’

“We’re the plumbers of the internet… We make the pipes work but it’s not right for us to inspect what is or isn’t going through the pipes,” he continued. “If companies like ours or ISPs (internet service providers) start censoring there would be an uproar. It would lead us down a path of internet censors and controls akin to a country like China.”

Charlottesville votes to shroud statues after the violence

The Charlottesville City Council voted to drape two Confederate statues in black fabric during a chaotic meeting packed with irate residents who screamed and cursed at councilors over the city’s response to a white nationalist rally.

The anger at Monday night’s meeting, during which three people were arrested, forced the council to abandon its agenda and focus instead on the tragedy that surrounded the rally. Covering the statues is intended to signal the city’s mourning for Charlottesville resident Heather Heyer, who was killed when a car slammed into a crowd protesting the rally.

Kindergartner revealed as transgender to classmates, then teacher reads transgender books to class

A kindergarten student was reintroduced to classmates as transgender in a California public school recently — and the teacher followed up the student’s new gender reveal by reading a pair of books about transgenderism to the class, KTXL-TV reported.

As you might expect, the whole episode at Rocklin Academy Schools has more than a few parents upset.

“These kids who had never struggled with their gender identity before are all of a sudden scared they could be turned into a boy,” Greg Burt, director of capitol engagement with the California Family Council, told the station.

The UN Has A Warning For The United States Over Alarming Rise Of “Ethnic Violence”

The United Nations has just issued a formal warning to the United States. A UN committee is warning President Trump over the recent rise in racial violence in the United States. The recent events that took place in Charlottesville are part of the reason why the UN has issued the warning.

If the UN committee actually did the job correctly, they would realize the violence doesn’t stem from Trump but from the violent leftists who attack Trump supporters just for the hell of it.

Half of those who applied for residence at Ryerson chose not to identify gender

About half of the 856 students moving into residences at Ryerson University this weekend will do so without having specified their gender on their applications, meaning that they could be assigned a room with roommates of a different gender identity.

Ryerson University changed its residence policy for this school year to make the inclusion of an applicant’s gender on a housing application voluntary. Under the new rules, those applying for housing can either choose all-gender housing or specify their gender and, if they choose, indicate a preference to be paired with roommates of the same gender.
