New York: Muslim arrested with large weapons cache destined for terror-linked Islamic compound
Officials said that Abdullah was arrested by Johnson City police on May 31 for shoplifting ammunition from Gander Mountain. According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, when a search warrant was executed on Abdullah’s storage unit in the town of Union, the following items were recovered:
Four loaded handguns
Eight assault weapons
64 high-capacity ammunition feeding devices
One loaded shotgun
Thousands of rounds of ammunition for rifles, pistols and assault weapons, including .50 caliber armor piercing incendiary rounds, numerous firearm parts and flak jackets.

Celine Cooper: Premier Couillard’s message to anglophones
Over the weekend, Premier Philippe Couillard reached out to anglophones who have left Quebec and invited them to return to the province.
“We need you,” he said in a speech at the end of the two-day Liberal youth wing policy convention held at Bishop’s University in Lennoxville. “It’s time to come home.”
“To English-speaking Quebecers, I say, this is your home, this is your moment. Let’s build it together.”
Kentucky city mayor: Confederate statues to come down after Charlottesville
The mayor of Lexington, Kentucky, is taking action to remove two Confederate-era monuments from his city’s former courthouse after the deadly clashes in Virginia.
Mayor Jim Gray revealed his intention Saturday after the attack in Charlottesville. He said he planned to announce it this week, but the incident prompted him to declare his intentions earlier.
Violent clashes between white nationalists and counter-protesters left three people dead in Charlottesville, including a woman killed when a driver plowed into a group of counterprotesters. Dozens more were injured.

The Google employee, software engineer James Damore, wrote a piece entitled; Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber. In which the engineer describes how conservative voices are actually silenced and suppressed, in addition, anyone with an opposing view of the technology giant is systemically practically marginalized for their ideology.
CFL ‘Diversity is Strength’ T-shirts released after racial violence in U.S.
The Canadian Football League sent a message of honour and pride by releasing planned “Diversity is Strength” T-shirts weeks in advance in response to riots and racial violence in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend.
Paulo Senra, the CFL’s director of communications, said the shirts were given to players and coaches of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the B.C. Lions Sunday before their game to be worn during warm-ups.
The response online was immediate and positive.
