Charlottesville: State of emergency over US far-right rally

Officials in Charlottesville in the US state of Virginia have declared a state of emergency ahead of a large march by white nationalists.

Thousands of people are expected to join the “Unite the Right” rally against plans to remove a statue of a pro-slavery US Civil War general.

Violent clashes erupted between far-right groups and counter-protesters who have also gathered in the city.

Two people have been injured, police say.

Red terror, meet white terror. And the media have cried “wolf” for so long, that we roll our eyes over this.

Interesting that the Unite the Right people were allowed to have their rally after a judicial order.

Then Antifa decided to bus in protestors, still no problem

A couple of hundred local Milita boys showed up armed to provide security for the rally. Emergency declared.

This is going to be the first in a series of these events. Wait and see.

Richard Spenser just put out the call to disperse via his periscope feed.
Okay, if lawfully permitted and peaceful demonstrations are illegally prevented from occurring, why should they stay peaceful?

And of course, CNN is giving non stop rants from the victim industry that the violence is all because of Trump. Yes, according to CNN and its unbiased commentators, Trump and his supporters are causing the violence at the demonstrations, and is further evidence that he hates blacks and is anti-Semitic. CNN, the world’s trusted leader in fake news.

Funny how there was never a state of emergency over the “Occupy” movement, Antifa riots or Black Lives Matter. I wonder why /sarc?

Last time I checked the ‘far right’ was outnumbered at that scene 10:1 or more. And 90% of the violence is by the other side.

Let’s be clear – if we as a society start rounding up people who represent 1% of the polity and start attacking them because of what they believe, whether what they believe is ‘good’ and sane or not then we need tread very very carefully.

It’s been MY personal experience that whenever there’s one of these Klan/Nazi rallies down here in Raleigh, they’re the ones outnumbered 100:1. The cops are there to stop us from killing them but all we do is scream at them. If WE wanted to storm the stage and kill every last one of them, it would be over in 10 minutes, cops or no.

So as I watch this unfold on TV I really have to question who started what. 40 Klan hats ‘causing violence’ would all be beaten bloody in a few minutes if they were charged by the crowd. The fact that this has gone on all day leads me to believe that it’s the other people stirring up most of the shit. I’m happy to be wrong but I feel like some part of the story is missing.
