Good News: UK schoolgirls who escaped to join ISIS terror cell in Syria ‘are now dead’, family fear

FOUR schoolgirls who shocked the UK when they decided to join ISIS in Syria are now dead, their families fear.

Relatives of the girls, who were “straight A students” at Bethnal Green Academy in east London, claim they have not heard from them for more than a year.

The first to flee was Sharmeena Begum in 2014, who was 15 at the time.

She was joined months later by Kadiza Sultana, Shamima Begum – who is not a relative of Sharmeena – and Amira Abase.
