‘Everyone in Syria is bad now’, says UN war crimes prosecutor as she quits post

A senior war crimes prosecutor has announced she is resigning from a United Nations panel on Syria, saying she has lost faith it will ever bring criminals to account and that “everyone is bad” now in the war-torn country.

Carla Del Ponte said she was quitting the three-member commission investigating human rights abuses in Syria after five years because it “does absolutely nothing”.

“We have had absolutely no success,” she said on Sunday. “For five years we’ve been running up against walls.”

Islam does not recognise “human rights” much less what the West calls “war crimes”, so honestly what did she expect.

    • All of our “betters” insist on believing that Muslims think just like we do!

Well, even the concept of “war crime” is a fairly recent Western invention if we are honest. I am not referring to being guided by a certain morality even on the battle field, which existed generally in the West. Even that was pretty much limited to the West. When it comes to a belief system that applauds using civilians including women and children as shields, celebrates using small children as weapons (“suicide bombers” although an adult pushes the button), encourages the rape of the enemy’s women, even young girls, and making them sex slaves, how on earth could any intelligent person expect not to find a multitude of our concept of war crimes. This is why the whole UN panel is an insulting farce in my view, but what else can one expect when it is the UN.

You’ve got to give her credit for finally figuring it out, making the announcement and quitting, rather than just staying around for the fat pay check and cocktail parties.

I would not say she has figured it completely or at least refuses to say if she has. She fails to connect the dots to the common denominator: Islam.

The good old days of chivalry on the battlefield are gone forever.

Duhh, it’s the UN what did you expect.

  • My God, an honest U.N. bigshot.

“”Nothing happens, only words, words, and more words,” she lamented earlier this year.”

    Now?

Syria as a nation is nearly done. It has no future. Syria has a population of mainly homicidal fanatics bent on killing each other for not having the “correct” version of Islam. It’s own people flee the nation not to make a better life for themselves but to fulfill some form of Islamic agenda of spreading Islam around the world. Syrian migrants overwhelmingly don’t work, collect welfare and barely have an elementary school education.

    Even the bible confirms this!
The burden concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
